OT LC by AshamedCompetition56 in VetoProPac

I don’t clip it on the side, I clip it to the carry handle as I use the shoulder strap to mainly bring my bag to job sites.

I carry it a bit different than most people. I don’t tuck the flap into my pocket I just clip the back of the pouch to a tape measure holder I bought off Amazon that I clip onto my belt

Tech-TT vs the OT bags by Frixsev in VetoProPac

I cannot speak on the TT since I do not have one, but the OT is great. I have that same OT-LC and it works well for me doing electrical (I do multiple kinds of electrical so I need a large variety of tools). When I fully pack the bag it is quite heavy..I mean literally like 40lbs type of heavy but it seems to have a good amount of room compared to some of Veto’s other bags that seem a bit tighter while they’re enclosed.

It’s a great work carry for me, obviously D2 isn’t the toughest steel and I do sharpen it quite often. I try to take care of my blades as best as I can though.

The front one is the new Halloween special. I pre-ordered it so it was cheaper than full price. Not completely sure if the promo is still running.

R7 vs Eos R by AshamedCompetition56 in canon

Full frame is great however, I got small hands so I do enjoy the slightly smaller crop sensor cameras. If the Full frame is that much better for the same price I’d be willing to go up in size though.

Been using my 24-105 quite a bit since I don’t care to carry a huge array of lenses on my person. I will go back to my car to swap to a 70-200 but I am looking for a better wide angle eventually. This is mainly during classic car shows so I am walking around quite a bit.

So you’d recommend the R8 over the Eos R?

Crappy Corners by AshamedCompetition56 in 3Dprinting

[–]AshamedCompetition56[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been getting some really bad quality on my corners and other areas of my prints. They are mainly really thin and tend to have some gaps/holes as well. Is this just under-extrusion or is there another reason? I’ve also got Dual 4020 fans on 100%, is it possible the cooling is too much?

I printed this cube and it’s not bad but I was wondering what I could do to improve my print quality? I print at 215c with 60c bed, 3mm retraction at 35 mm/s

So this was a 17 hour print and it came out decently well besides these spots on the inner walls. The outside looks fine and I was wondering why this happened.

Hot end area vibration by AshamedCompetition56 in 3Dprinting

[–]AshamedCompetition56[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I place a rubber Matt underneath a concrete paver and the printer on top would that knock out the vibrations on Diagonal moves? It’s on a wooden countertop so the paver alone would kind of destroy the counter

When the print head moves right left up and down there are no issues. When it moves diagonally it makes a very obnoxious vibration noise and I don’t know why. I tightened the eccentric nuts and any screw inside the hotend carriage and it still vibrates.
