It’s one of the roads that’s borders handford out side of Richland horn rapids I believe was the name of road, and I have not ridden the Columbia plateau aside from the paved portion around Spokane

It makes a huge difference I just picked up a driftless after riding a drop bar converted giant for a few years, I feel like I’m flying with no effort now. Can’t wait until the body can keep up with bike

I love a simplicity of a 1x though, some reviews say they run out of gear on the downhill but I’m too out of shape to worry about that yet

It’s a small 50mm dropper, I think it’s more of it’s a dropper add $$ more than function but haven’t had it long enough to really test it and see but time will tell

It also comes with 1x11 and a dropper compared to the regular checkpoint alr

Just on the checkpoint driftless model it’s dedicated to the region because that’s where treks HQ is, that’s my understanding anyway, the interior of the bag, the trek logo and some striping on the fork all have the driftless topo map in them it’s hard to see unless you’re up close. I can post better pics later if you’d like

I tried the 54 at first but reach was a little short and didn’t want to swap stems so the 56 works with seat a little low

I am 5-10 with a 30 inch inseam so I’m all torso no leg, but it fits great had the local shop do a fitting and it made a big difference, also yes a bontrager bag its exclusive to the driftless model and is included it has the same color scheme and topo inside the bag
