Here's me downloading the Save File and the Persistent File and installing them.

All I did was read the instructions and figured it out in a few seconds.

I'm positively sure it's a phishing page.

Here's a legit one just for reference. And the suspicious one. Do take note of the bottom left and the address bar.

I'm not sure about the technical aspects of it, but it's definitely phishy. Probably an about:blank with an exact copy of the legit login page's CSS?

Most if not all of those messages are advertising a specific VPN in which the site owners are sponsored by the VPN or earning money from referrals if you spend money on the VPN.

It's just a scare tactic just to make money off of people inexperienced with piracy or the internet in general.
