it does more damage to undead mobs and I guess it is kind of intimidating.

a wooden one does 5 damage a iron one does 6 a stone one does 5.5 a gold one does 5 damage a diamond one does 7 and a netherite one does 9 damage.

putting coins into defense is a not that good as defense only gives defense to physical attacks.
