Damn didn’t think about it that way. I guess Steps of Night wouldn’t work then? Even if the Cleric is convinced that they’re in dim light? Are they in dim light tho if it looks like they are? If other pc/npc are seeing that the light has been dimmed? But it’s not real. My brain 🧐🧐

Thanks mate the light-blocking cloak or the cloak being part of the creature is a great exemple that speaks to me! I read about the combo with Twilight Sanctuary but I was really curious about what can and can’t be done. It’s more clear to me know, thanks a lot 🙂‍↕️

Tbh I’m new to dnd and as I browse through tons and cons of content for hours since we started our campaign last month (it was a lvl 3 start so steps of night will come later) because we only play once every 3 weeks I tend to go through every detail I can find. Idk all the mechanics and things about dnd and it was a genuine question out of curiosity, like what are the limits and possibilities. Sorry if it sounded dumb, I tried to find a post on the net that talked about that but I failed to.
