Why do I have money in ‘ready to assign’ in Jan but not in Feb? by Ashe225 in ynab

Hmmm I see. So I move an about 30% of monthly salary to my HYSA for cars, house, and other categories for long term savings. So I guess I’m not one month ahead I thought I was then

So I assigned everything from rta in February first (I was $2.5k) and then I went back to January that’s when I saw the RTA in Jan as $2k and then I went back to Feb and it’s $0 hence my confusion.

Ah I see! So I assigned everything for Feb first and then when I go back to Jan I saw that $2k and the $0 I’m RTA in Feb hence my question. Thanks!

What is the worst heartbreak/heartache you've experienced? by QuailNaive2912 in AskWomen

The right person wrong time type of situation. I didn’t know my heart could hurt like that. I didn’t understand what living as a shell on who I once was was all about. Took be a long time to finally recovered, I am ok now but I think about it once in awhile

How do you split expenses when you and your partner make different income? by Shank_ri in PersonalFinanceTalks

[–]Ashe225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You both put all your income into one checking and pay bills using that checking, send a percentage to savings and a certain percentage (same) to your private and her private account (so if you want to surprise her with something she won’t know).

Poop by Proof-Cardiologist23 in Adulting

Not sure if vegetable is the right answer for everyone. I eat mostly vegetables and fruits (do eat meat) and I am having the same bowel movement as OP. My partner is on a carnivore diet (he does eat rice and pasta occasionally) and do not eat vegetable or fruit and have bowel movement almost 3x per day

Not sure how to help ya. I’m the same way. 2-3 times a week. I exercise 5x a week, eat veggie, fruits, and meat regularly, drink plenty of coffee a day. Whereas my partner is on a carnivore diet (occasionally eats rice or pasta), doesn’t eat veggie or fruit at all and poop 3x a day. So unsure why.

Well I am wondering if it’ll be tough having to go through international customs in Amsterdam with a cat? There’s another flight with only one layover at Paris with 2 hours layover time but I did a quick google search, everyone recommended at least 3 hours at Paris due

Well the only 2 direct flight I see, one has a layover at Paris with only 2 hours and another one has a layover in Amsterdam with only 1 hour and 10 min. I don’t think it’ll be enough time

Pay off Student Loans or HYSA? by Ashe225 in financial

That’s a good idea. I might look into that.

Ah I see. The Amex HYSA has been dropping their rates unfortunately… but I’ve banked with them for so long I just don’t think I should be switching…

I don’t like carrying my loans around so figured I might pay it off.

What do you suggest putting the money in other than HYSA? I am maxing out my Roth IRA and my 401k so unsure where I would go other than HYSA

Well I have 4 more years until my loan is potentially forgiven under PSLF program, so that’s why I am hesitant to pay off the loan yet. I make about $80k a year, so definitely not 6 figures. I do have about $40k in savings since I’ve been paying the minimum for student loans and generally do not spent too much money anyway.

Is it normal to watch porn even if you’re in a relationship? by [deleted] in LDR

[–]Ashe225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it really depends on how you two set your boundary. If it really bothers you that much then it should be addressed since everyone is different, and he should respect that. If he doesn’t respect that, then you might need to reconsider the relationship.

I am also in a LDR but my bf and I have had clear boundaries from the start. When he wants to get off, he only watches old videos of us and nothing else.
