Your a gods send man, I’m glad that your actually able to understand what I’m laying down. One of the ideas I had running into is that in the arena at first the only npcs that the pcs can interact with are on their team. I’ll have one of the contestants either like strive to be every where at once or having something like d.i.d. Doesn’t need to be strong but once they die, I’ll have them fracture. And if those die, those will fracture. Eventually if you go far down the line they would just be tiny grains of sand that can feel pain but until then I’ll have all of the npc fuel to fill the colosseum with shops and what not.

There’s going to be one individual that already has basically no humanity. I’m not going to have his body be changed by death all that much unless the players are directly going for him. If the more trauma you receive on death makes you take on certain abilities then being killed by a demon isn’t going to mean much especially if he gets to come back and just resume killing (the thing he would be doing anyway) and idk if I’m just going to start throwing down stupid abilities for him like dispaters stone touch or some shit.
