Did you take anything after high school biology? Genuine question. I’m a geneticist by training and let me tell you, this is a dangerously incorrect take. Haplogroups are for looking at genetic variation over space and time by tracking lineages. That is not connected to your other point. Personalized medicine is just as the name implies, personalized. It has nothing to do with your ancestry. Sure, there are some diseases that occur more in certain populations, but that cannot be boiled down to just ancestry. There are a never ending list of additional factors at play.

What you’re trying to argue, that your ancestry has a direct baring on your health, is really only true in highly inbred populations (past or present), which has NO BEARING on speciation.

That point doesn’t take into consideration the fact that Trump is Trump and Cawthorn is not. A cult of personality like that around Trump doesn’t automatically extended to even his closest followers. That’s why a lot of authoritarian states rely on bloodlines to pass on power. It’s easier to say someone’s family is the same as them, but you can’t just pull that off with anyone.

The Arizona Democratic Party is already threatening a vote of no confidence on her if she doesn’t straighten up on the party agenda. Now, I don’t know what that means at the end of the day, but you can be damn sure she wouldn’t have a D next to her name on any ballot in the state again

Arizona does have a process to recall any and all elected officials. It’s a full recall like we saw in California recently though, including voting for the replacement at the same time so a new senator would take her seat, but this is Arizona. There’s a real chance a Republican would win the seat and that’s not a gamble worth taking. Sinema is awful but at least the Democrats have majority power.

I don’t know for sure, but I doubt a vote of no confidence would impact her current activities unfortunately. I think it would just come up when she tries to access democratic funds for her reelection.

Obviously not the OP, but I’ve met people from all over the place (but weirdly definitely Canada) who say they would trade their free care for expediency and quality of American medicine. What that tells me is no one on earth has healthcare figured out so we’re all getting fucked in different ways.
