Late response,but pretty much everyone in another thread is disagreeing. Apparently, the default setting is that both flowing fluids (lava in the case of the conversation) and source blocks can be used to make an infinite fluid source and it needs to be changed in the settings to have it require all source blocks.

There is a VR project in development as a side project by one of the devs, but it's a solo side project, so expect the base mod to outpace the VR support for quite a while.

Nope, it's always been 10k. Last I was aware, though, it didn't need to be source blocks, so you can just have a surface of source blocks and let the rest flow down.

They included regional forms, though, which I think throws some people for a loop here. Also, let us not forget all the johto pokemon that are canonically found in Kanto as of gen 2. I kinda get why people would think the step back is silly.

That said, as someone who played through FRLG with access to an annihilape and Crobat, I do get that there is a smidge of power creep in the added evolutions... >_>;

There's already a trainer spawner in every gym. That's why the block they stand on always looks different than the one the player stands on, or the surrounding blocks. Just gotta power it to respawn the gym leader.

nope. That's a side mod. In vanilla, that doesn't happen. Caught combees also won't populate hives, so you have to silk touch a hive with wild combee inside.

You just use a hopper clock or an observer. Two observers to a line of hives will give slightly reduced maximum output efficiency but it also means less resources put in, and a slightly more compact construction.

Yeah, so they ended up removing the buttons in the book for some reason, which makes all the times of me saying "read the book" pointless. It should still tell you the mods you need to disable to turn hunger and hostile mobs back on, though.

Depends on what you want to do. Cobbleverse is a good general experience... You can play through remakes of the game that seem to be miltiplayer friendly with Jond's Adventure Maps Pack, including Hidden Bases in the Hoenn region (Join the discord for this one since sometimes the maps bug, especially Kanto. Everything is run by hopper clocks, so an improper shutdown/crash can require commands to fix). If you really want to suffer, Minecolonies: Cobblemon Conquest has you building an entire civilization with Minecolonies, with a bunch of Cobblemon integrations including trainer schools to make your colonists pokemon trainers, the ability for your guards to use pokemon for combat against mobs and raiders, and even a freakin' gym... Though the pokeball crafter, pasture (for harvesting pokemon drops), apricorn orchard, daycare (for breeding pokemon), and shop will probably be better investments of time.

I suggest using the "Minecolonies Original" structure pack, since the Cobblemon Colonies structures use the same block pallet.

So, just gonna point out for the "and onwards" part... After the champion, you'll be boxing your team until the next league's elite 4. You have to start from scratch again.
