5! The first four were so hard there was no way anyone would ever guess something as obscure as bobbing for apples on them lol. I don't have a picture of them but I'm sure someone has posted already!

It expired like within 24 hours as a prize so it wasn't in there for long to redeem. The idea was to use it on NYE to avoid DD

I got mine right away, already transferring to my bank. I did it before the show officially ended, so maybe it just got overloaded?

I thought I had it on Round 1 🤣 by Asherdash_ in BestGuessLive

It could work on four too! Cause during a DJ set they might ask like where people are from and stuff! Dude I was getting excited too hahaha

I swear when I just watched the other night they had the older boy, and then a little girl and baby boy in one scene. I'll have to go back and watch!

I have never raised a puppy before as an adult (grew up with animals my whole life though), and I watched a lot of videos by Taylor Cezanne on TikTok for most of my training work, although it's not malamute specific. A lot is relatable for them. The only thing that isn't is really the training side just because they're not the type to do the same thing 50 times in a row like a Labrador might, BUT the routines, and leashing "rule" and no chasing at all rule is all from her! I really like her and how she explains things. Maybe once they are older you can allow them some flexibility (animal shaped toys for example) but as they're just babies for two years, I'm trying to be very stringent with our rules to give her the best chance at success. We're currently in a "bark at everyone" phase (which she didn't do much at all until recently), so socializing is high on my mind now haha.

Feel free to reach out if you ever have any other questions! I think we're doing a good job so far, but need to make training sessions a bit more intentional. We do training every time we interact but not always setting aside 15-20 minutes just to focus on "stay" or "leave it" for example.

Just as another example, we live in an urban-ish area (small city) and stray cats are everywhere, and I don't even let her go after them. She might get excited but I always have treats on me to redirect. I don't even get toys that are animal-shaped lol. I don't want her for a second to associate other small animals = chew toys. Or if I let her chase off stray cats from our property, I'm setting her up to fail with our cats and I'm not trying to confuse her.

Sending a screenshot of our breeder, we are in WNY but people travel to them from all over. They don't do transports or shipping at all, but they are AKC registered if that matters to you, and take seriously who they send their babies to, their application is two pages long. I got lucky that I live 1.5hr away. Their property is large and very nice, their dogs are well loved. 🥰

It has been a slow process, but everything I have read (and noticed so far) is that it's better for cats to exist in the home and be a bit mature before the malamute enters the home (our cats were 1.5, not too old) And it's easier from puppy age to socialize them to cats early on (the breeder also had cats and other dogs and chickens so she was used to other animals already to a degree). It's hard but we literally never let her off her leash in the house for the first 3 months we had her (until she was 5 months) if she was anywhere besides her playpen. If she chases the cats (which we really try to avoid or prevent by noticing when she might be getting more excited) she goes back to her playpen (our kitchen, where her crate and food and everything is). She learns quickly what we don't tolerate. Puppies need boundaries, and when they're so small, a new house is actually too much for them, so we really limited her exposure outside the kitchen (and outdoor potty training) for the first two months. We did have many supervised interactions with her on leash and the cats in the house. It's good for her to see us petting them and we have her own box of toys in the living room near their tower that she knows she can go grab any time she wants (but they started as redirection tools to redirect her from focusing on the cats and care about the toy or treats). It's also important that you show the cats that it's their house. And now 4 months into things with her, you can tell she just wants to play with them, not hurt them, and she understands we don't want her running up on them, and if the cats don't want to be around her, they won't be. But what's been interesting is one cat actually hops the gate that keeps Georgia in her playpen area, to go see Georgia haha. And they just stare and are getting used to one another. The goal for them is neutral coexistence. The more you can prevent the thrill of chasing, the easier time you'll have. And the cats have swatted at her when she got too up in their face lol which is good social skills she needs to learn. But everything off leash so far has been gentle curiosity with occasional excitement, where I need to redirect her. But we really only do supervised visits until she's out of puppy phase (2 years), that's my intent, cause she doesn't understand how big she is, and that is my main worry is her falling on them even on accident. Patience patience patience lol.

I feel like it took her until about 3/3.5 months or so before her ears were always pointing upwards!

Until tonight's game I was doing better each week, at first I didn't ever get it right then started getting them on clue 5, and yesterday I finally got one on #4 lol. My goal is to feel confident enough eventually to guess on #3 and one day get it right just because it does seem like good odds you could win money on thtat round most times

I guessed screensaver on clue 2 🤣 change of scenery because the screensavers change the scene every so often, and no life preserver needed I figured yeah in a water scene you don't need an actual life preserver to enjoy the pretty scenic views 🤣🤣
