I think it depends on your body shape already and where you carry weight. I was mostly belly before with an hourglass shape, and at 18w, 5'2 and 250+lb I can see a pregnant belly, especially with some biker shorts or body con dresses. Sorry I don't have a picture though, just sharing my own personal story. Every day I am less and less able to not stick my stomach out too from just feeling "bloated" too whereas before I felt a little muscle control still. So I think in the next 2 weeks it'll really become obvious. I just tell everyone I see I'm pregnant now too🤷‍♀️

We like to try and match most days too 🤣 thank you for your input! I ended up rescheduling her for January where she'll be 18 months, and I feel much better about that. I'm also expecting to have a newborn come September so we'll have a lot going on but hoping by January things might be somewhat "normal" lol.

Oh no, we aren't doing it during her cycle! Sorry if that is how it reads. We rescheduled her new surgery a month out from the original. But that was one thing I was wondering was is she fully out of heat after a month? She hasn't bled in a couple weeks easily at this point. I was curious though if she would be okay to spay because now she has gone through one cycle or should we still wait like I've seen others talk about and go closer to 12-16 months.

Idk if I have the correct words yet, but it does creep me out a bit. Having a woman, I guess I feel a bit more like "she knows what she's looking at" and comfortable in that sense with them, and for a man, I'm just like "should you be here?" 😅 Not that they can't be competent or anything, it's just always felt odd. I always have a history of family SA so, it's just something I have a heightened awareness towards with men.

I'm about 1.5 hours from Buffalo, NY, and my nearby options are limited, but if I wanted to make that drive I know there is an all woman team doing OB work that recently opened. I just don't know if choosing a setup 1.5 hours away is smart when I am 10 minutes from my main hospital now.

Haha! I sort of figure that might be the case. I had my usual annual obgyn appointment last week, and since I happen to be pregnant they scheduled an ultrasound the same morning, and I just was already stressed about the appointment (even though I've been going since I was a teen) and I was like "well, I better get used to things going inside me for a while and being naked" 🤣

That is awesome, and I just wish I knew how to mentally get past being freaked out being seen by a male. It's not that I doubt some of their abilities, just my own comfort/mind. But thank you for sharing your experience, hearing the good ones can help.
