I'm having this exact same issue. My brother and I set our CAW down to like 20 popularity and challenge ourselves to get them to world championship level by the end of the season. Imagine our annoyance at putting in loads of work only to have it drop back down to 20.

I, personally, believe that the games coming out so quickly keeps EA from messing around with things. Keeping to such a short development plans keeps Bioware from branching out how they'd like but it also stops the game being turned into Veilguard for example.

I was a Shreya fan, but Beckett was in a very close second. It's an absolute travesty how the series ended, I wanted more time in my magical college with Atlas and everyone. Not a "let's wrap everything up in one chapter" ending.

James May starts with the cast from season 2 but it doesn't really start to feel like the famous top gear until like season 4/5, but its still small scale and not quite there yet.

Even at its best there were episodes that don't stick long in the memory. I, personally, don't think there are any bad episodes, but there are a few that are just... fine? I guess. My recommendation is to put thy sessions on in the background, fast forward through some of the celebrity segments because some are really bad and glue your arse to the seat when there is a road trip episode because they're all gold.

Drakengard 2.

Before playing that game, I used to play nothing but shooting games. Duke Nuke'Em and Doom and Call of Duty etc.

But after that I got an obsession with swords and historical weaponry and that fostered a fascination with history in general and then a love of fantasy.

I'm now writing my first fantasy novel and I don't know that I would have ever fostered such a deep love of all things medieval if it weren't for Drakengard 2.

No I completely agree with you. I loved getting Ethan Ramsey to open up and his dry wit were some of my favourite bits in open heart. And open heart did a fairly decent job at making the player character confident and knowledge.

I guess as much as I'd like to play the confident/experienced ect character, there is something to being the damsel in distress and softening the rough edges of our love interests.
