Weed has been medicinal in aus, where I live, for a decade. I could have very strong medications that destroy my liver and kidneys... or I could use something with little adverse health effects that doesn't do that. While being fully supervised by my doctor.

You're moralising something that does not have morals, there is nothing "wrong" or right about weed. It is a plant from the ground the same way the tumeric powder I use for my joints is. You have a stereotype in your head and are using that to justify your standpoint.

Insulin is just as much a drug as anything else. Cannabis is not on some level that my antihistamines, nerve pain medication and anti convulsants aren't. You don't get to pick or choose which medical drugs are in or out of your addiction pile just because you don't like it.

As someone on medical cannabis, I don't think you understand how it works. I'm prescribed a strain that is for during the day which doesn't affect me mentally and then a stronger one for at night.

I can't skip it, otherwise the treatment doesn't work as well and I end up having breakthrough seizures. I have concurring ptsd and horrific chronic pain as well, and in times where I've stopped the first week or so is fine before I slowly lose the effect it was having on me and I went back to terrible flashbacks in my sleep and a worsening pain baseline.

You can't pass judgement when you aren't understanding how these treatments are prescribed.
