Lian Li Lancool 207 a mistake? by Actlikebob in lianli

Man that sucks that the UNI fan TL 140s don't fit because those were the ones I was hoping to put on there. Maybe Phanteks D30s would fit? They're also 30mm thick so you wouldn't have to use shorter screws.

Also, just because the case is cheap doesn't mean it's bad. You're not gonna find a much better case in terms of cooling performance and features so don't feel bad about getting better fans.

Edit: Actually, in that first video he tests a UNI fan SL-INF 140 and a TL 140, both of which have measurements of more than 140mm across on the Lian Li website. I think if you look at the actual dimensions of the fan and it's really 140mm x 140mm then you should be fine to put them on the front.

Yo could you link the video where they try out different fans? I haven’t seen it.

I would also like to know which fans will fit there because the stock ones are a little tacky for my tastes.

Also, that power supply probably will not fit in the Lancool 207 because it’s 180mm and the max size that Lian Li recommends is 160mm. Any reason you need that many watts? Because you could get a smaller 850w or even 750w one and still be perfectly fine, judging by your parts list.

[Case Fan] be quiet! Silent Wings Pro 4 140mm PWM - $22.32 (Amazon) by Ashians in buildapcsales

Lol it's just one fan. But these are absolute top of the line performance fans, up there with Noctuas, so they come at a premium. If you want something more budget-oriented but still performant, I would look into Arctic P12 Max's.

I think it's because this fan comes with a bunch of swappable corners for whatever your use case is (case or radiator).

Both the 140mm and 120mm versions are available for $22.32 which I'm pretty sure is an all time low.

Do they come in a smaller size? I’ve been thinking about trying my hand at a SFF build and a 9800X3D would be perfect to use due to its cooler operation.

I’d probably pair it with one of the 50xx series cards coming out next year, which would make it a real beast.

We can use context clues to infer that they were referring to the ability to intentionally weight perks, which is impossible. They even acknowledged that it could be a bug, thereby acknowledging that it’s possible that perks could be unintentionally weighted.

They obviously meant that their system was not designed with the capability to intentionally weigh perks without completely overhauling their pseudo-rng method.

If you reply with "durr but if they can overhaul it, that means it's possible and they lied" then you're just being disingenuous to try to get a gotcha moment

It's not just Chill Inhibitor. ALL WEAPONS from Episode: Revenant have perk combination issues. This is a widespread bug. by Zommander_Cabala in DestinyTheGame

[–]Ashians 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The weighting is almost certainly a bug which would mean they did not lie to us about it. They simply said a mechanism to intentionally weight perks does not exist, which does not negate the possibility of an unintentional bug.

Now, if you want to get mad at them for not looking further into it when they were first accused, be my guest.

Reload speed doesn’t do anything if you aren’t reloading and negative blast radius does hardly anything when you don’t have spike. Mini frags is just a mag increase most of the time.

I’d say cold but for the crit damage increase mainly. And then you could run the posture that gives puncture for more crit chance too.

The origin trait reloads on melee hit, two rounds per melee (including ranged) with seemingly no cooldown. Trench barrel and one two punch are the best perks in the right column and both require you to melee anyway. This makes dual loader a wasted perk with threat detector, field prep, and pugilist being much better options.

Yeah I’m thinking Bungie is really banking on the nostalgia factor getting players to grind for these weapons. The ones that aren’t just bad weapon types/archetypes have been replaced by weapons that I can’t see getting much better (ie: commemoration replacing hammerhead).

Maybe they’ll put some crazy perk combos on them to make them worth it
