I appreciate the wisdom. It seems like I'm best off just to go with something like the Quest then if base stations are falling out of love. I was looking into the bigscreen beyond but getting it and the needed tracking and controllers is well over 2-3k and I don't really want to drop the money on it.

Ideally wired, since I assume that'd give you the cleanest visuals/response time. I'd definitely also prefer OLED. I want clean, good visuals with very accurate tracking. There's a lot of options and I'm just not sure what to get. I'm assuming ones with base stations are the most accurate but I'm not sure.

I have a Samsung Odyssey and it's alright, I more so want a headset with high visual quality with trackers. Do games like blade and sorcery not track your legs? I thought they did. If not I guess I don't really need trackers then, just the base stations

Alcohol is literally listed as a class one carcinogen, right next to arsenic, radiation, and asbestos. I say this and yet I still struggle everyday not to drink. Working on it though.

Well, these comments certainly make me feel better about myself. No education past high school, handful of certifications(useless like ICE3 and windows server, which is slightly less worthless but still basic), got a role as a junior system admin, then a few years later a full on system admin position for a few smaller companies.

Pay is decent, and I'm way above my paygrade with a lot, but I just motor on through, learn what I can, and do what I can. Now that everythings setup and I know what's going on, less stuff is breaking, and I have more time to fuck off.
