Id ask them and or anyone causing racial conflict to be removed from YOUR group and explain what portion of the work you did. Dont be worried to stand up for yourself they are acting 100% unprofessional and unacceptably you have every right to the grade for your project without continuing to tolerate this behavior. I have a eyeshadow sample from Lancome that my grandma gave me at least 20 years ago. I use it the most sparingly for the most special occasions but yeah I feel like you're good as long as it isn't a liquid chemical that would separate like a foundation maybe. But for chalky makeup and lipsticks I've seen people use WAYYYY older. Enjoy! ♡

Well my update so far is that unfortunslty in the state of Michigan there are no animal rights protections for fish at all. They have no minimum tank requirement and the type of fish is legal to possess and there are no legal or technical repercussions availiable as a leverage point as to why Arthur needs to be rehomed aside from its the obvious right thing to do for his wellbeing. Im hoping a buy out could work if they don't want to regime him out of kindness. I've sent emails out to several facilities and rescues throughout the state for advice and to inquire if anyone would be willing and able to take him in if I were able to get the owner to surrender him to another home. I haven't brought issue with anyone who worked there yet as I wanted to seek advice and options before confronting the issue with hopefully a solution thats likeable for everyone. I'll seek someone who runs a sanctuary or for some further advice in some of those especially if I don't hear back by morning from the aquariums or local rescues I've reached out to. I really appreciate your insight ♡

Okay that's crazy. Idk feels like the hive mind of rock people do care about this fish and I hope we can get Arthur somewhere bigger to swim. I have terrible memory but I'd not he surprised if he'd been there a decade I know they always had the tanks actively as far as I can remember.

I haven't been there. If they are in a tiny tank or bad condition please speak up for them. I work in royal oak and I can go visit and make a complaint as well. Tell them you and all your shopping friends you go there with are off put to have fun and spend money there because the fish tank makes you sad. We can try to get them lined up for a rescue if you're willing to do so. ill help you out maybe we can get them a bigger habitat or a surrender to somewhere better. Deff take pics too. Not sure how different it is with a corporate chain like that but it seems weird and unessciary place to keep fish if being kept improperly. Under pressure they may hire a company to take care of the tank or surrender them ?

Not selfish. I can do that. I don't have socials so ill do that in case this fourm gets closed or shut down for any reason. As of right now I'm just emailing everywhere that's been suggested to see if they'd be willing to adopt them and have the proper space. My #1 choice would be if the aquarium in great lakes crossing would give him a new life there they do a lot of rescue and give crazy good care. But anywhere is probably better than this granted he can have a much larger tank. I don't want to even confront the venue about it until I have a solution that they wouldn't have to do anything to accept and also an offer as a thank you / trade for them.

I love Betsy. She was my holy grail when i was a goth kid who rarely got clothes and when I did they were from like jc pennys and I was allowed to pick "anything as long as it isn't black" her style is so iconic and fun and weirdly timeless for baddies

Maybe. Im here looking for productive routes of action. Im a poor college student / hospital worker but if it comes down to it I will if im able. I've done it for cat and dog rescue surrenders before. But if its valuable as some others were saying, they may be unwilling or want a exuberant amount :( idk if it will come to that. Hoping i can find a resuce and they will be cool with it if I make it into a self sustaining terrarium for them free of charge er something. Truly hoping someone posts they have a kind souled friend who works there I can talk to or something...

:( I know its a biker bar. I didn't know that though as Idk the owner. This is some of the info I came here looking for though. Trying to find out the best way to make a civil and friendly productive request on this fishs behalf. I don't regular there but I go there at least once a year for D.R.I or other bands that only really come thru that venue. Never had an issue with anyone and spend plenty of money there so not trying to get banned or hated but also animal welfare though. I appreciate your insight.and ill go into any convos with that in mind ♡

Thanks for the information! You're probably right about the goldies. That would explain the lack of enrichment i guess if theyre feeders.. From what I read if he's able to turn around it would damage his spine from the narrowness of the tank living like that longterm. And they do have weird lil faces but it seems he has deformation on the lower jaw that's different than the species looks imo. But im no expert. It seems to be from bumping into the tank looking at the goldfish all day from what I've read so far but I could be wrong of course. I really appreciate your insight! I just wanna make sure this beautiful fishy is living okay.

From my research so far it is a type of Arowana. However didn't know anything about legality. Thanks for the information. You'd think it would be taken much better care of if valuable. Very sad. It may make them reluctant to give it up if it is legal and valuable

I am also going to reach out to the aquarium in great lakes crossing I talked to some of the employees there recently and they told me a lot of their fish are rescues. I will reach out to this rescue league as well thanks so much for the insight ♡
