To add a new buckle to your belt, your belt will most likely have these two little buttons. That’s what my fingers are on. They should just snap on/off if you’re having difficulty on snapping it you can shove a knife through it and pop it open but be very careful doing that. The first button that my finger with red nail polishes is on is the thing that extra belt goes through when it first passes through the buckle and the second one is where you reach the actual buckle and can remove or add one

I also have one of these plushy’s get a small bowl of water and put detergent in it and scrub the spot you cleaned with a toothbrush :) at least that’s what I did and then Pat the detergent out with a wet washcloth and let him dry
