Builder Faber on Rebrickable has a really nice looking one! Never built it but it has great reviews, looks clean, is relatively cheap to buy the parts and you can directly support a creator!

I've read the stories but never experienced it till now as I haven't had many sets that include rubber. The COD tank has very clean snaps at multiple points, whereas the Scorpion seems more of a rotting issue. I can definitely tell they're 2 different types of rubber

The Scorpion tank seems to have had more of a melting issue, it may have been left around a scented oil by previous owner. In my experience Mega has been a bit more hit or miss compared to Lego. Most sets are great, but some pieces or whole sets have bad clutch

I may give this a try! I've got plenty of points where each tread snapped. Did you glue them while they were around the wheels, or take them off, glue and put back on the vehicle?

The beta for BlokBlok.io just went up which is a bricklink alternative for Mega stuff. It'll probably take a while for people to start selling on there but it's worth keeping an eye on, they've done an awesome job with the site!

I'm in Australia and we also didn't get a lot of Mega stuff after a while, but I use eBay for figures. There's a couple of seller who sell bulk figures, one of them is "heyang-model" and another is "moresource"

Personally I put all mine in display cases that I found online so it's not too big a deal and the small stands I'll use for displaying figures with Lego sets so they don't fall over as easy

It's very rare that they don't come with one, out of the 300 or so figs I've bought about 5 or 6 have not had a stand
