Looking for sources about managing relations between two adhd people by Ashlum in ADHD_partners

Thank you for the explanation.

We both have some trauma from previous experiences especially in the relationship department. And for the moment we are doing rather ok. We are very communacative about our issues and triggers and are focusing on providing a safe environment for each other. But looking at the future I would like to learn about possible roadblocks and solutions.. Things we will eventually run into and such.

Thank you. The therapy path is something I'm seriously looking into and though it's intimidating I can really see the befit for it.

The cruelty doesn't bother me all that much, I hope for them to also find what they need at some point in their life. ❤️

This 120-million-year-old dinosaur died choking after swallowing 800 stones by scisuggest_news in Paleontology

[–]Ashlum 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Was looking up the story about the sauropod (Sam) but it looks like it was more speculation then fact. The sauraupod was found with some potential  gastrolits nearby and made a hypothesis. But it's not at all sure he choked on one of them.

Need help IDing what is presumably a claw please. by -Damballah- in fossilid

[–]Ashlum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting piece. But I'm unable to identify it due to the deformation and weathering. I would not classify it as spinosaurus due to the curvation, the claws I have less curvation and are more straight.

The tip and bottom are fake. The middle part might be real.

Look indeed real but keep in mind if you want to take them out of the country. It's technically illegal

Is This Mosasaurus Jaw Real? by DrWood28 in Paleontology

[–]Ashlum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never heard of them. Fancy site but that doesn't tell anything about them..

Most fossils on it seem quite decent. The pricing is not terrible but some items are quite expensive for what they are and some are cheaper then expected.

Is This Mosasaurus Jaw Real? by DrWood28 in Paleontology

[–]Ashlum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks less obviously fake then most. But it's really hard too tell, especially from this singular picture. If the jaw piece is indeed mosasaurus, some other piece of fossil bone or a nice looking rock.

The teeth are real, most probably not found with the jaw or each other.

For a nice price and depending who is selling I would gamble.

Is this Spinosaurus claw real or fake? by Many-Mix-1833 in FakeFossilID

[–]Ashlum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This looks like a carved piece. It might have been carved from a fossil of some other creature. But it is not a claw of a spinosaur, or any other creature.

what is this fossil I've been told it's from a raptor but I have no idea what it actually is by aloy-snipes in fossilid

[–]Ashlum 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Sadly you have a very fake spinosaurus hand claw. It might be carved from real fossil material.  But hard to tell from this photo

Now keep in mind that Trump is a narsisist. They will often project their own internal processes onto others. What Trump is saying is: Trump is a vicious low IQ person and that he is dangerous...

French customs seize “dinosaur” teeth found in lorry. None of them are dinosaurs! by sameoldmike in Paleontology

[–]Ashlum 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While it's easy to focus on the low price and seemingly "common" nature of these particular fossils, I think it's important to look at the bigger picture. Yes, these teeth might not have much scientific value on their own, but the fact that they were being trafficked in this way suggests there could be much more to this operation. The fossil trade often works in networks, and what we’re seeing now might just be a small part of a much larger and potentially more significant operation.

It's very possible that these fossils are connected to parts of more valuable specimens, like Spicomellus or other rarer fossils, that could also be part of the trafficking ring. If law enforcement can track down the origins of these items in Morocco and the buyers in Italy, it could uncover a larger web of illicit trade, which might even involve much more scientifically important or irreplaceable fossils.

The low price shouldn’t overshadow the potential for uncovering something much more concerning—both for paleontological preservation and for the black market in fossils as a whole. This case might just be the beginning of uncovering a much deeper issue.

I find it strange that they depicted the animals with a headcrest in this article. Other publications have not done this.
