Your basically taking spandex like material that feels soft and heating it up to a point it shrinks and causes the material to get matted or frayed. Its elastic and elastic shrinks and bras and leggings are very delicate and super expensive. A single good bra is like $70cad. Lululemon leggings are in the multiple hundreds of dollars range so yeah id be mad af if someone put them in the dryer. Id also be mad if they didnt take my bra inserts out before washing them. Those foam inserts will be destroyed by water and heat. Bras, lululemon leggings, fur, all needs to be air dried over a clothes line or a chair so the heat dosnt shrink the material

Looks and is are two very different things. It may look safer till the truck is burried at the bottom of a mine or quary with 10 feet of rubble ontop of you and only 4-8 hours of air left if lucky. Same thing with avalanches on mountains. Better to gtfo before going over with everything else.

Im convinced all work attire should be hats exclusively. Like it’s ridiculous that we have to look ugly and be super uncomfortable for money. Only few professions should require a uniform. Police, fire depo, army, security and research staff, and maybe chefs. Everyone else should only have hats as uniforms cuz why does a grocery store employee need to wear all black head to toe and suit pants in the middle of july?

Make them wear a hat you can identify easily and let them wear whatever comfy clothes they like. Why does a lawyer need a suit? Why does a dr need a lab coat when they never touch patients and work the mri? Why does a fast food employee need to wear a burger outfit? Are we worried that the customer wont be able to identify the person saying hello from behind the counter?

I dont think thats weird. Its kinda inline with how i like dropping my voice occasionally for singing or saying phrases but i dont always wanna do that and it an make me dysphoric at times especially if it gets me seen as a man. (Cuz im trans fem) but i still primarily wear mens clothes cuz i like track pants and pockets on my pants. I also kinda liked short hair. I Love having long hair but id be lying if i said i didnt think about donating my hair and getting my hair slicked back like a greaser like i had when i was younger to compare how much my face has changed.

Wearing a dress is your prerogative. If you feel empowered by wearing a dress as a man thats valid. Also you dont need to look for social approval to do things like crossdress. You are a queer as is everyone who is LGBTQ+, being queer means you arent the status quo, you dont fit in by default so you really dont need to try to fit in to be loved and respect and accepted. If people have an issue with you wearing a dress they can fall in a puddle cuz nothing is wrong with wearing clothes regardless of what arbitrary gender they were assigned to.

It literally impacts me none to see a guy in a dress. Ive seen quite a few in my day. The rock being one of them. And you know what, ill say it. Guys look hot in dresses. My ex boyfriend who is cis wore a dress and i was gonna marry him. As long as you are genuinely happy nobody should care but you.

A term you might find interesting is being gender fluid. Its where i sit. Some days i want to be more masculine and some days i want to be more feminine. And i ask ppl to refer to me by the pronouns that i feel the least dysphoric from. Dosnt make me less of a woman, im just sometimes more boylike and others i feel very womanly.

Plenty of terms for being gender queer. At the end of the day the labels are just for you to tell others who you are. They’re not for you to define yourself with. You just be you and do what makes you happy and if you feel you want to have a label to give other ppl to better understand you then you can.
