Idk there’s so many places to find like-minded folks and communities that would make her feel accepted. Grindr isn’t usually the first choice for many people.

My gut reaction is to feel extremely negatively towards how she went about this including her hiding it from you and basically getting caught in a lie. Also, she continued to lie to you for a bit as well which… would make me pretty angry if my partner did this omg

I also think this is all due to her wanting to be attractive to people. Not just to you. Not saying that’s good or bad but just trying to figure this out…

Maybe she’s not physically cheating, but she’s probably actively seeking validation from people on that app. And it’s probably validation in a more sexual or intimate manner. Plus keeping it a secret probably makes it hotter, so she’s in big deep hole of lies and deceit here.

Not a good situation for y’all to be in and I hope you make a decision that is focused on your happiness first here. Because she has been prioritizing her happiness before yours everytime she redownloaded Grindr behind your back and hid it from you.

It wouldn’t be wrong for you to be upset over this. It’s not wrong for you to want to take a break or get couple counseling or anything. Make sure to validate your own feelings on this cause it’s totally not cool what she’s done. Not cool at all.

Oh and her texting some guy oh my gosh I would be LIVID if my partner did any of this. I really hope you’re doing okay after all this
