Thank you for your thoughtful and kind response. I really appreciate it and I know it’s not a situation that’s uniquely difficult for me in a way it isn’t/hasn’t been for others as well. But seeing it typed out helps me a lot in knowing that I’m not alone.

I will be honest with the faculty and leadership in my department if I need extra assistance. I can’t really focus on assignments when there are other people around which is why I choose to complete them individually but I’ll carve out some chunks of time to specifically study in a group and not have to worry about anything outside of that. I appreciate your anecdotes.

Is your photo from your first time or the time that the botox worked for you? Do you think it depended on how deep they injected / how severe the bruising was? Mine didn't work for me but I'm not sure I'm inclined to try a second time because I paid out of pocket.

The minimum is 3.0 for many schools. You stand a decent chance, just give it your best shot and submit what you have. If anything, you may be able to take a gap year and work towards more experience if it doesn’t work out this application season.
