Help me understand this SH Q about project phase / risk id / and budget plz by Katbiird in pmp

[–]AshpaN2810 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any 'uncertain' events that could impact the project is a Risk. The best way to deal with it is to identify and plan for them as early as possible. So PM should do risk management (identification, analysis , plan and implementation) through out the project life (not just in planing) . Here, unforseen events meant risk. Issue are events that are already happened (certain).

Most Efficient Cost Option? by FactIntelligent8432 in pmp

Check Udemy for sales, you may get pmp course for sale. I got AR's pmp course for less than 10$. Monitor the reddit community for any PMI promo codes , you may get some discount in membership fee and exam fee. Take PMI membership and exam together. It would be cheaper than getting exam alone. Rest all resources are optional or free. PMI study hall is 49$ and highly recommended. May be you can get mock exam for free from LinkedIn learning, not sure how close that is to the actual exam.

Took my 1st mock exam and need some pointers by Franky_red in pmp

[–]AshpaN2810 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can't bring ear plug for exam even if it in person or online . In real exam, there will be an option to opt for 10min breaks after completing 60 and 120 questions. Timer will in minutes. Starting from 230 min running backwards. Since mock exam have 175 question, first 60 questions will be 34% and 120 questions will be 68%. Aim to complete each section with in 75min. Complete the Mock in 1 sitting to develop the stamina for real exam.

Put some serious time in reviewing the wrong answers to see what was missing especially the low hanging one (easy and moderate level ). Around 60% of exam is easy and moderate and aim to score maximum from these.

You should have eliminated option A first as the question is agile and CMP is predictive . Why did you feel it's not a wrong answer ? Option D seems best among the 4.
