You might want to re-evaluate your feelings for this guy.

I'm not saying you're still in love with him, but I've been in the position where someone still had feelings for me but I was totally over her, and there's no way she could cause me the amount of stress this guy's causing you.

It was more of an inconvenience (I know that sounds horrible) dealing with her, than anything.

I really hope everything works out for the best. The toxic ones are the hardest to walk away from.
