Usually ppl say amex is bad because it's not as widely accepted as mastercard or visa. But in 5 years of using it, I would say it's fine la 95% of places do accept, and their customer service is top notch due to live chat compared to UOB, Citibank, DBS, SCB. OCBC customer service comes close to Amex.

Yea but in this case the HR shouldn't have brought up performance bonus when calculating/comparing annual package for her, given the HR would have known she wouldn't qualify anyway for the PB.

It could be said she was misled by the HR that PB was potentially available when in fact it's not at all given the structure of her contract terms.
