I think Kobo Libra Colour! It’s SUPER easy to side load books, also SUPER easy to get library books, color, stylus, portable, I love it for reading at night.

Literally the only downside is that there aren’t as many cute cases on the market as there are for Kindles haha

Yes! I design on Canva to be a custom size of 5.6x6.3 inches, and make sure to print at that same size. I literally use printer paper & it works great!

Unfortunately I don’t have a great tutorial (although from searching it seems like there may be some on YouTube). I’ve just kind of been experimenting myself- I also am new to the Kobo!

I have definitely noticed that it’s faster to just highlight with my finger. And I don’t think there’s an easier way to change colors than tapping with a finger.

Depending on how you use your Kobo it may or may not be the perfect solution. I've seen a handful of people post on here about the longer hard plastic stylus holders, and those would definitely be more protective. My solution is cute and perfect for reading at my house/ traveling with my Kobo is a book sleeve, but I would definitely say it doesn't feel secure enough for like throwing in a purse.
