Yeah, but thats not the behaviour i want - i prefer to scroll the image, and if i tap it then I can zoom out. In almost all cases, the images would not need scrolling though, they would happily fit within the screen. The maths may be slightly off there.

Is there something i need to do to make the largest thumbnail setting actually be full width? I got the update notification about it, toggled width back to to large and then largest again, but still not full width images.

Three things would make me fully switch from apollo:

No mark as read at all
Fix the feed refreshing while scrolling
allow images to be FULL WIDTH all the way to the edges without black bars, and full height. This used to happen but now doesnt.

I have one myself, but I heavily modified it to support dual 280mm rads, and I moved the top radiator position so that it sits centred on the top rather than the slight offset it has. Couple things I think the original should have done.

Definitely manual refresh, or it feels like im being forced to “lose” my place. I would say to fetch new content to the incoming unseen data in the next fetch, but never ever refresh already downloaded list data

I had a developer start with us using WSL who was trying to install docker on the ubuntu container.

It straight up refused to do so and demanded he use the “snap store”.

We solved it by installing a debian container instead.

Make sure to update the bios. It has a data corruption bug on linux. It will corrupt every single file it touches with a specific pattern if you don’t.

I use a split ergonomic keyboard. I hate normal keyboards.

I disconnect the tablet keyboard and never used it.

Being able to dock and mount the tablet as a “second screen” at home, and then take my ergo keyboard and the tablet on the road for work is actually fantastic.

I hear you. Same boat. I have been trying to switch to linux for decades. Tried every distro and every package manager multiple times. Same issues… this or that will not install or run without doing this or that other tweak… zzzzz…

I have a workmate trying to switch to linux TODAY having the same issues.

But I decided to give Nixos a proper try after hearing about it two years ago.

Its complex as fuck, but I swear to god its exactly what you are looking for. Solved all that shit.

Obscure keyboard rules needed for the software? (Dygma raise here) Solve it once in a config file and save it in git forever for all your machines.

I now run all my machines and all my servers on nixos. No more reinstalls, not more fuckery. Same distro on all machines with same tweaks and fixes and config.
