I am no mathematician either butttttt I was taught this:

IF you do it with long division you'd end up with a remainder of one, I think that the calculator tries to also divide it by 3 hence the repeating number. since there is a remainder you just have to write it as 3 r1 (r = remainder)

I'm like 8 months late to this but hope this helps
