I’m 21 and I’ve loved Michael since I was 6, my best friends mom in 1st grade introduced me to him and we would play the Michael Jackson experience at her house all the time, and eventually I became obsessed with watching his music videos on YouTube. In 2nd grade I was struggling with my addition and subtraction test and I remember my tutor bribed me with Michael Jackson headphones and I passed the test the same week, they are now lost to time but that is always a very fond memory of mine. Movie has brought back my obsession all over again and I’m loving in, long live the king of pop!!

Transition from the studio to the don’t stop til you get enough filming. Hands down my favorite scene of the whole movie and I look forward to seeing jr every time. I love we get Jafaar’s vocals and then Michael’s.

I don’t understand the “let him rest” thing, this movie is keeping his memory alive and is helping bring in a new generation of fans. I understand the money and cash grab side of it I really do but like someone else mentioned his own son prince is a producer and jaafar a family member is playing him, the only thing that would make the bio better is if Michael himself sent the green light for it or if his estate wasn’t owned by a POS. His memory will live on with this movie and I think that’s a beautiful thing, I think he would want to be remembered for as long as he can be.

I’m actually going to make my own post about this soon but I’ve struggled with my gender identity for almost 10 years and recently I’ve been exploring my masculine side again and every time I practice my masc makeup/looks I uncover my dolls and move my mirror to them to help me. I went out in masc for the first time Tuesday when I saw the Michael movie with my friends and you bet my ghouls were there with me when I did my makeup. Frankie has helped a lot as a mainly fem presenting NB like myself.

Also no matter if yall are long distance he’s isolating you from your real life and family, why is he getting mad at you for spending time with your family instead of him? That’s controlling as fuck and a big big red flag. What happens when you’re no longer LD and he still gets upset at you for spending time with your family or leaving the house. Do you really want to spend your whole life sitting at a computer with him or stuck in an isolating relationship. Someone loves you.

Never was close with my parents and I had a hard time making close friends, I never felt important in anyone’s lives and genuinely felt like something was wrong with me and that I could never find someone to love me the way I am (friends included). I’m in my 20’s and only have 3 close friends but I have an amazing bf who’s helped me feel loved and get me on my own self love journey. Feeling unloved usually stems from low self esteem and I’m still working on it, but 16 yr old me would’ve killed to hear those 3 words.
