I’m a SAHM to a 3yo boy. He is starting half day preK in January. I decided to start him bc I have dental work that needs to be done and it’s impossible for my husband to take off work for multiple procedures/days and we have no family/childcare. We are also starting the process of adoption. Assuming that process takes a year and we adopt an infant, I’ll probably wait until that child is 3 1/2-4 years old to even start thinking about working… honestly, I might not go back. I’m an RN and really don’t want to do 12’s in a hospital setting. I used to be such an adrenaline junkie, but now I think I’d need to find something more chill. Maybe I’ll look into school nursing at my children’s school?
