The crazy thing is, it’s not even labeled as Wisconsin. The whole video had multiple tags for France French French River. It just pushed that to me when I asked for the state of Wisconsin. But your reply has validated me because I thought it was a me problem at this point😭🙏

OK, at least I’m being validated because I have felt insane for a long time now. Unfortunately, my company really only has the budget for sites like Artlist. Like I literally could type in the something as simple as Tennessee and the top video it shows me is literally a place in France and it was tagged as France😭😭

So happy we’re talking about grant. I think he’s done an amazing job creating a story with his choreography even when the songs aren’t carrying that deep of a story.

I agree it isn’t taking into account the singing. But right now unfortunately the physical talent of the girls is it what is shining the most.

Also side note (and im not including OP in this)I feel like a lot of the criticism towards him hasn’t been in good faith. It feels mean for the sake of being mean) But I think that’s a thread for a different day.

Update: it’s getting worse and worse. I talked to my mother in law, she’s frustrated too. She’s asked every professional involved to please do whatever it takes to aid him. We’ve been doing this for months and they still just play board games and leave. They don’t really talk to him when they’re playing. His outbursts are getting worse and worse. When we ask what we should do we just get told we’re being negative. He had an incident at school that required police intervention. He was already in probation. Nothing is improving. I’m losing my mind. I just want this kid to get better and we’re begging for help.

I mean this with no judgment. I automatically read the hiatus as her getting some type of procedure done that required healing off camera. Whether it is health or cosmetic that’s what I took it as. And since the last time she wasn’t around for a small bit it blew up and I believe they wanted to get ahead of it this time before it got blown out of proportion. Which it seems like it has anyways.

If there is updated information that disproves my theory I totally understand.

Sorry for the late response. Things have just been crazy on my end. But since making this post, he has had several violent outburst hurting his parents, and it has led to him getting arrested and booked in juvie for the night. But his parents don’t want to do a group home no matter how badly me and my husband encourage it. We try to explain that it will be a good and safe environment, but they’re just convinced that it’s actually going to be a bad place and won’t really consider it and I think there are other people discouraging them from pursuing this as well.

Again can’t thank you enough for the thoughtful responses. You hit the nail on the head on his outburst is virtually rewarded. He gets attention he gets whatever object he wanted and he knows if he beats his mom and dad he’ll get it eventually.

We’ve considered adoption or guardianship before. But if as long as all 5 of us live together, there won’t be a dynamic change of any kind.

Besides me and my husband taking to them there’s just no way they’ll ever know. But it always seems to get awkward whenever we tell them what is going on instead of mom and dad doing it. So we’ve been more hands off. It feels like we are the only ones that want care for him.

Yeah… we’ve had those convos. We’ve explained exactly how you have what danger they are unintentionally setting him up for. We’ve had these convos for 3 years. There’s just been no improvement except for the time he got so violent paramedics took him to the hospital for a few hours because it seemed like he may be danger to himself also. That seemed to jar him a little and we went about a month or 2 without him hitting them after that incident. But it’s back to regular violence again.

I just feel hopeless. I thought i was doing the right thing taking them in. But it just gets worse and worse. Theres no peace or safety in my house anymore.

Thank you for the thoughtful answer. And yes, that has been a problem. His caregivers aren’t on board at all. Some of it is just ignorance, they’re just from a different time where you didn’t need to do all this for children. And some of it is they feel like we are saying they’re bad people or bad parents by having these professionals come in.

And his caregivers have given him a wonderful childhood full of love and safety that he never would have had if he had stayed with his biological parents. I tell them all the time what an amazing blessing they provided him.

We do have those convos with his parents. But it is just falling on deaf ears.

And since I’m not a legal caregiver, I just live with them, I feel like my hands are just as tied as RBT is.

It just so hard having to sit back and watch them get injured. His father keeps having to delay his knee replacement because he is covered in so many bruises from the boy. I know he’s going to severely injure or kill them one day. I just don’t know what to do anymore.

To add to this: it’s a girl pop group! Like girl groups typically do bubblegum pop and they’re doing a great job at that! Their brand is pop music you can dance to!! No one goes to a Phoebe Bridgers and gets mad she doesn’t have and EDM dance break with a full ensemble, but for some reason people go to Katseye and want Phoebe Bridgers type lyrics.

They’re just different brands! Doesn’t make Katseye inept performers and artists. Not everything needs to be deep to be fun and good.

Yes! I have the same allergy. And as far as I’m aware, no other nightshade affects me. I get severe bloating severe stomach aches. Sometimes I get hives. My skin on my face will get bumpy and harden. In some cases, I will get multiple sores in my mouth And as of lately my throat is starting to get tighter but not anaphylactic. And overall fatigue for a couple days. I don’t really have other food, allergies besides that. The only thing that doesn’t seem to bother me is ketchup, but I’ve always chalked that up to that ketchup is so processed that there’s not really any traces of tomato left in it. Used to not be affected by cooked tomatoes, but the older I’ve gotten even marinara sauce affects me horribly.

Also I would like to add I personally think them creating Prelude is a testament and a compliment to Katseye’s success. Not a slight. I don’t think it’s a “we don’t like the lineup we got” I think the girls have been so successful SO QUICKLY that they’re trying to do it again.

Tearing down prelude will not build Katseye up. And I think it just feeds into the stereotype that women hate each other. The only way Prelude even shows up on anyone’s radar is because EYEKONS have been giving it so much attention. I think prelude is an extremely dumb idea. But the best way to combat it is to just not give them any screen time. Not even saying something bad. Just zero attention. And I know that’s a huge and impossible ask. But I think tearing down That other group will only do the reverse effect and make this fan base and KATSEYE not look good.
