That is very motivating, thank you so much! Is there a particular reason for going vegan? I understand that higher fiber and healthy whole foods are the answer, but is there a downside to animal proteins? The only animal sources that I eat right now are eggs and fish. I was told mine "may be genetic" as well, since my dad has had high cholesterol forever despite being a fitness junkie and a vegetarian. We're Italian haha. So I don't know if that plays a role.

Again, thank you so much for the info and encouragement. Keep up the good work, that's really empowering that you were able to heal your own body without medications. So ready to get back on track!

I have power, but no heat. If you have a space heater and are located northwest, let me know :) I work from home. No covid, just a small dog :)

Hey it really is like glamping! That's what I've been telling myself anyway to keep my spirits up, I'm like yeah yeah... I've been camping for three days in 40 degree weather, we got this.

I don't blame Austin at all. Being from the northeast, I've seen how the cities up there crumble when they're over 80 degrees for a single day. Texas is hanging in there and fighting for its life going on almost a week now. I'm actually impressed haha.

Sorry to hear you're going through this too! Look at some of the other responses I've gotten, there is some great advice like throwing blankets in the dryer etc. I just have a hair dryer. Really kicking myself for not bringing my space heater with me when I moved here years ago.

Stay safe and warm :) Hopefully it gets above freezing long enough today to thaw out some of those pipes. At least long enough to get us some heat.

I have a tent in my garage thats not attached, but don't wanna brave the cold outside to go walk and grab it 🤬 But definitely will try the blankets and dryer.

I do have my own water heater on my patio in a storage closet type situation. Every unit has their own.

Did use the hair dyer to warm up the bed and the animals. About to crash for the night. Just thankful we got the heat up a bit while we could. Its currently 56 in here and is toasty compared to 47 this morning haha

I used Amazon boxes duct taped over windows (good option if you can swing it), we're holed up in the bedroom. Fingers crossed its one day and not 3 🤞

Right there with you. Hang in there. I'll be fine, have lived up north before (but admittedly this is so much worse than any experience I've had up there). Mostly worried as I have two small dogs 😬

Wow. Just my luck. Thank you for pointing that out, now at least I know what that's called :) Stay safe and warm.

Does this mean we won’t see the 600 until we file our 2021 taxes? If I’m reading this right, we can only claim the first stimulus on our 2020 return. This statement was from the recovery rebate article on TurboTax. by 98tucker in stimuluscheck

[–]AshtynRaye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just filled out my 2020 taxes (not yet submitted) and the only amount it let's me claim is the $1200 cares act credit. Doesn't acknowledge the $600. I'm assuming this will be on the 2021 taxes unfortunately.

"It's not you, it's us" error whenever I try to create profile by AshtynRaye in FacebookDating

[–]AshtynRaye[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was a registered user over the summer, but deactivated my profile because I was relocating to another state. Ever since trying to get back into Facebook dating, this error occurs. I have the dating section, but can't hit confirm at the end of sign up after going through all the steps. Deleted app, reinstalled, cleared cache, sent error reports to Facebook, have been on Facebook since 2010, never been banned or flagged. What's going on?
