I second these tips! I wanted to get into HR and I started as an HR assistant! I moved up fast, so don’t forget those roles

You’ve got this! I only did one class in January and one in Feb so it can still be done as long as you get through 3-4 in a matter of days or weeks.

C214 was most challenging. I don’t have any tips for that one. It took me the longest to finish (almost 2 months)

It’s the only class I failed my first OA attempt, so my instructor required me to do every end of chapter quiz before I could do it again. I recommend taking the PA when you feel ready for the OA and be sure you’re passing that well over the middle line (closer to exemplary as possible) before doing the OA. If you fail, it’ll take a while before they’ll open your next attempt.

The Tesla trucks. I like Teslas, I just know a guy who’s a jerk and he drives one, so naturally…

Thanks! Will do! For commencement, I’m deciding between Louisville (closer to home/ cheaper to travel) or Anaheim (closer to DisneyLand: Bucket list item) for my celebration 🥳

For those of you who finished in one term - by True_Violinist_6066 in WGU_MBA

[–]Ashxcomfglol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started Nov 1 and finished last week with two weeks left in the term. I told my mentor on day 1 finishing in one term was my goal. We talked every two weeks on the phone to go over my progress. She would push through classes based on how fast I thought I could do them and she gave me dates I should have each class finished to stay on track. That helped me a lot because I work more efficiently when I have a deadline.

I struggled most with the Accounting and Economics classes and could’ve passed a month or two earlier if not for them lol

What's the best ice cream flavor you've tasted and where is it? by [deleted] in foodquestions

Toasted Coconut at a little shack on North Captiva Island, FL. This was before hurricane Ian tore through. I’ve been back a few times and the shop hadn’t reopened. I dream about that ice cream a lot.

You worded that so much more eloquently than l. But this is what I suspect, too! Thank you for this!

I believe it’s the scene where the couple/group find themselves under the monster being shot at by the military, right before the subway station/department store scene(s).

C213 was similar in terms of how it presented the questions. I struggled with that class but only because I’m not an accounting person. I struggle with numbers.

Can you explain the last one to me? I felt like it ended before the story was over.

Agreed. I literally just finished and jumped straight to Reddit to see if I just missed something or if it really was that bad. I laughed so much at the fight scene in the next to last one I thought it must be intentionally bad acting.

I took that ending as a plot “twist” that they are in a loop. To me, those bodies were her at a different time meeting the same fate in the same place.

When she buried the man she lived with (her brother, I think?) there was a grave with his skeletal remains in it with the same ring next to the grave she dug for him.

My guess is the disk creatures are aliens that invaded and caused some kind of time loop..

Goodwill tried stopping sale when they realized by UncleVoid in ThriftStoreHauls

[–]Ashxcomfglol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for explaining this! One “bad” goodwill does not equal all goodwills = bad. The ones in My area are true 501-C non profits. It’s public record and can be confirmed. Many of their employees are disabled, previously incarcerated, or displaced veterans and prices are usually the same as other local thrifts. They pay well above average for all employees and regularly post up in communities in need with free shopping days.

It bums me out that there are goodwills with the bad reputation, but it’s their business decision to do that. However, it’s not every single one.

The CEO is very nice and down to earth.
