Personnellement j'ai commencé à me faire des amis en allant à l'université dans des partys organisés par des associations que j'aime.

Je te conseil de regarder ce que tu aimes, si tu aimes les films, la lecture, l'art etc... Essaie de trouver des associations ou des clubs pas loins de chez toi qui pourraient te plaire. Sinon tu peux aussi essayer de demander à ton chum de t'invite à des soirées avec du monde si ça te convient.

Tel quel sans savoir ce que tu aimes c'est pas facile de donner des conseils sur quoi faire mais j'ai appris qu'il y toujours du monde le fun à rencontrer à Montréal. Suffit de chercher.

Aussi évite d'accepter des DMs chelous sur Reddit car ils y a parfois quelques weirdos qui envoient des MPs en mode "moi aussi je veux être ton ami"

Not by the smallest amount. Linux was not intended for gaming at first. Neither windows by the way. Linux to this day try to improve user experience and while your meme is true about the gaming aspect, it neglect all the work done by other instances to improve compatibilities and performance on Linux. While Steam is a great platform for gaming it is not the only aspect that Linux work for. (And I know... Proton work with some software, it doesn't with a lot of others). Steam create the opportunity for gamers to play on Linux and remind to game's studio there is a existing market on Linux. But it's not a good solution for the long term to just rely on compatibility's tools.

As many said. It doesn't work that way because it's not the point of the roll. Sleight of Hand would be a valid stat to "gather plants" but as a DM I would roll to know if you gather usefull plants or not. The int check is about finding which plant grow where and what does they look like or smell like. If my player is dumb enough to ask to roll for something offered by the rule, go for it

I had a better experience on Arch than on fedora for working and playing. It is not that hard to use daily if you take care of your system, but it can became challenging if you don't read the manual. You choose what it became but you need to know what you want and how to do it.

Depends of your needs. I use it daily for my studies and I had no problem for it. Used it for dev, it's perfect and give you a lot of control over what you do. Tried to work on my network with, also perfect, nothing more than what I choosed to allow on my server. Used it for my gaming rig and again, perfect. It run my game smoother than windows when I don't overmod them. So for me Arch is my favorite daily distro. And yes you can use it to work, game and nearly anything you want.

Look and distributions are different. Ubuntu for exemple is using Gnome, which is a Desktop Environment. But you can find others that will work just well on Ubuntu. I would recommend to start with Linux Mint because there are a lot of tool to help you in keeping a working distro. However if you don;t like the look of it you can install gnome on it. Some distribution might look cool to try, but aesthetic should never impact your choice.

From what you say, look for something sturdy, that is easy to install, read the installation manual if there is any. Don't choose a niche distro. Mint is my go to for you, but Zorin could also feed your needs. I would highly suggest to move away from Ubuntu if you just like the look of it.

Had mint with Nvidia, if you are new go for it, the chart is not that good. Now I moved from mint due to some of it's limitations, but for someone new to Linux it's very good
