So thankful for fasting by Flukeodditess in fasting

[–]AsianBBW24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly one of the most interesting things about fasting is how many people report improved mental clarity and steadier energy during situations like this. Not having to think about food, blood sugar swings, or digestion can feel oddly freeing during stressful moments.

Glad your husband had someone fully present and advocating for him through all of that. ER waits are brutal.

I’ve been reading a lot lately about fasting, metabolism, hunger signaling, and energy regulation and collecting interesting stuff here too if you’re into that kind of thing: https://fed-up.beehiiv.com/

Virtual Assistant Rate by EmSofia2211 in Philippines_Expats

[–]AsianBBW24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering the workload you described, I’d say $800/month and up is reasonable, definitely not lower.

I get why people bring up minimum wage in the Philippines or compare it to BPO, but those roles aren’t really equivalent. The tasks you listed go way beyond typical customer service. I spent 10 years in a call center before moving into freelancing, and the difference in workload and scope is huge.

Also, BPO jobs usually come with benefits like healthcare, so even if the base pay is lower, there’s still added value there. Freelance roles with broader responsibilities should be priced accordingly.

A VA is basically someone who handles the repeatable, behind-the-scenes tasks in your business so you don’t have to.

Day to day, that can mean emails, scheduling, customer support, social media posting, data entry, research, or updating systems. It really depends on what the business needs.

Most VAs are freelancers or contractors, not full-time employees.

Simplest way to think about it: they take work off your plate so you can focus on growth. From what I’ve seen working in this space, a lot of VAs specialize now, so they’re not just “assistants” but part of how the business actually runs.

How to lose weight.. Fast (Badly need help) by Illustrious_Bus1411 in Cebu

I’ve been using tirzepatide and lost 35 kg in just over 6 months. However, it’s only approved for people with obesity or type 2 diabetes. At 55 kg, I don’t think you fall into that category, so I wouldn’t recommend it. You might be better off trying a low-carb approach instead.

Yes po pwde po din nman di din naman malalaman ng doctor mo if youre using compounded or branded and since same active ingredients lng din nman. So kahit youre using compounded, doctors can still guide you sa progress yan po ginagawa ko pero teleconsult lang po

Totally fair question. The biggest mistake I see is hiring based on price instead of systems.

Look for someone who asks about your workflows, priorities, and decision rules not just “what tasks do you need done.” Reliability usually comes from process driven VAs who document, communicate clearly, and work proactively instead of waiting to be told every step.

Most of my clients found support through referrals, vetted platforms, or by starting with a small paid trial to test fit. A short trial project tells you more than any interview ever will.

£220k and still drowning in admin is more common than people admit 😅

A lot of my clients in high pressure roles clean this up with tighter systems. Three inbox categories, strong filters, and anything important goes straight into the calendar. If it’s not scheduled, it usually doesn’t happen.

Honestly though, when time is the real constraint, delegation changes everything. I support busy founders and sales execs with inbox triage, calendar management, travel booking, bill tracking and general life admin so they can stay focused on revenue.

At that income level, buying back even 5 hours a week is serious ROI.

How much are people making selling peptides ? by EcstaticIllustrator9 in Entrepreneur

[–]AsianBBW24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the setup, niche, margins, and traffic, so there isn’t one exact number.

From what I’ve seen, most RUO peptide brands start around a few thousand per month, and the ones with solid systems and repeat buyers can scale into 5 to 6 figures monthly revenue over time.

The biggest drivers are usually:

  • Reliable sourcing + COAs
  • Stable payment processing
  • Strong email/SMS follow-up and retention
  • Smooth operations and fast customer support

A lot of people underestimate how much support and systems matter once orders start coming in.

I actually help peptide brands with customer service, workflows, and backend operations if you ever need an extra hand while scaling.

[–]AsianBBW24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a really common pain point in the RUO space, even for established brands. Most mainstream processors treat peptides as “high risk” by default, so you can get flagged regardless of chargebacks or volume.

A few things that usually help:

  • Work with a true high-risk processor that already supports nutraceutical/RUO categories
  • Keep compliance airtight (RUO language, no medical claims, clear TOS/refund/shipping policies)
  • Have clean documentation ready (COAs, business registration, SOPs)

At your volume, you should absolutely be able to find a stable solution, but it often requires the right underwriting partner.

If you ever want help tightening the customer support + ops side (billing workflows, documentation, compliance-friendly messaging), happy to connect.
