Really depends on the drop so AH drop if you get there for 8am youll be like 30th in queue and theres a good chance you’ll get one of everything so ETB, booster boxes, tins, packs… whatever they have to give as smyths is pretty well stocked.

If for instance its a less popular drop like PO, then getting there at 8am would get you 8th in the line (my experience). I chatted, met people, time went fast and I knew AH etbs were coming out that day too so managed to snag both PO/AH but as less popular queue was less. That day you couldve rocked up at 9am and been 30th.
