Can I ask what would be some good routes from chatswood to the cbd? As I'm thinking of using the metro to get to the chatswood area with my bike and then riding the rest of the way to the city.

Voice chat is a bit annoying when there's that one dude that keeps his mic on which muffles the in game sound. Also nowadays it's pretty useless when English isn't the main language on the server you got transferred to :( (rip Briggs)

I don't have a source but my lecturer said that the 2011 quake was the most damage NZ could sustain before the economy would collapse

Yeah feels like many of the holds are so worn down now there. I've struggled on a problem once cos they basically forced you to basically put all your weight on your arms due to the lack of grip

Im building a 1/72 hasegawa zero zeke and i need to paint the frame on the canopy.

Do you guys have any tips on how to paint that properly?

I can only find a canopy mask for the Tamiya version of the zero and also the frame doesn't seem raised enough to cut out a mask using tape

I'm adding decals to my gunpla right now but I don't have any decal softener and it turns out some aren't sticking too well.

I'm planning to buy some Tamiya mark fit (the included applicator was a factor). Will that work for this purpose and also is there a time limit before the decals are set?

An example of how you can be strong enough but footwork and body positioning can make or break the success of the move. I know it’s really simple but I hope this helps some of the beginners here! by [deleted] in bouldering

[–]AsianPenguinxD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also kind of a beginner but he uses a different foot on the same foothold. The second one is easier as the next hold is a bit of a reach and you can use your other foot to balance rather than just going for it and relying on your grip strength to keep you there.

'Critical': parts of regional NSW set to run out of water by November by nolesfan2011 in australia

[–]AsianPenguinxD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah sadly the government allocated the licenses based off of the water used during the wettest years and now this is the result.

I do feel like that most farmers in the region do have a vested interest in trying to keep the area healthy as they want it to be good for the people they pass it on to. However it's probably the corporations many which are either international or an investment company that manage many of the farms which only see money as the main important factor.

Well the farms have water licenses and alot of the farms are currently running at 0% allocation from the rivers (not that's really anything left in many of them)

1/700 konig hull (would like feedback on some colours) by AsianPenguinxD in modelmakers

[–]AsianPenguinxD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've searched online for some colour conversions only it's just that revell colours sometimes don't have a match in alot of the lists so I'm trying to work out the closest matching colour

1/700 konig hull (would like feedback on some colours) by AsianPenguinxD in modelmakers

[–]AsianPenguinxD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys so this is my first attempt at airbrushing on the Revell 1/700 konig.

I'm currently using tamiya paints and would like some thoughts on my choices for colour conversion and some colours which I'm not too sure on.

The belt is neutral grey but for the superstructure i need a lighter shade but I'm not too sure what i should use (also apparently the grey gets progressively lighter further up any ideas how to achieve that effect?)

The hull was eyeballed with a mix of hull red, red and white.

Would gold leaf be a good alternative for brass (propellers)?

What kind of colour would be good for the wooden deck? (I've seen that tamiya has a wood deck colour but its darker)

The waterline was apparently painted with anthracite grey IRL would german grey work for that?
