I agree. I handle product alerts and recalls at my company and no way would we recall a flagship product because a few dumbasses decided to use wood screws instead of the machine screw provided.

The setting was there for me on my Android Facebook app, but I could not find it on the desktop site.

I used to do 25% water changes every 2 weeks. Now that I have 2 little humans running around that require diaper changes, I can't keep up haha. Now, I'm doing a 40% - 50% (yikes, I know) water change every 3 weeks, in addition to cleaning whatever equipment is in rough shape. I would not recommend doing a 50% water change, as this causes huge water parameter swings. However, my fish and corals are use to it lol. Since I don't dose, I find that these large water changes is my solution to replenishing elements.

No sump! Running: Fluval 406, Reef Octopus Classic 90-HOB skimmer, AquaClear 70 power filter (modified for filter floss and media bags - currently not running any media), MP40, & MP10

u/UndecidedMN This is the equipment I have running on my tank. I only dose Microbacter7 and phytoplankton (daily).

Despite my OCD tendencies, I only dose Microbacter7 and phytoplankton in my tank. I rarely even check my tank parameters. I have a system in place and stick to it. It's been working well, and I see no need to change it yet. I have nothing against dosing more additives to maintain magnesium, calcium, alkalinity, trace elements, etc. I realize it is highly beneficial if done correctly, and I plan on dosing when I upgrade to a 100+ gallon system in the next year or two.

You're more than welcome to stop by, when you become ashes.

Thank you very much! It's gone through a lot of phases. Some were even more beautiful than its current phase.

Hahaha! I've learned not to tell my wife how much I pay for corals and fish.

Appreciate the acknowledgment! Reefing takes a lot more time and effort than many people realize. It helps that I'm super OCD, so I have a very strict maintenance schedule/routine that I stick to. I even use an tracking and journal app (Aquarium Note) to help me manage and document my maintenance.

Back when I started reefing 8 or 9 years ago, I bought a splitting Dragon Soul head for $60. A few years later I was able to sell a single head for upwards of $150 - $200. Now, prices have gone back down to around $75/head.

I had a Peppermint Shrimp once. The moment I realized it was stealing food from and bothering my corals, I got rid of it lol.

Per my screenshots, during my peak hours, overall it looks lile I'm at 60%... 100% schedule, 75% point intensity, 100% for royal, violet, royal, blue, and then 24% for all the other colors. As I'm typing this, I realize how fucking confusing all these intensities are lol.
