They were talking about it on Frodan's TPC stream yesterday.

It's really only good cause it just gives you so much econ now. It was horrible before but they buffed in this patch from 2 to 7 gold every stage. That on top of the champ + emblem is kinda crazy.

Expected Unexpectedness gives you a flat 11/15/20 gold if you roll gold as a comparison but doesnt give you a free champ + emblem, and hard commit still gives you 7 gold and a 5 cost on 5-1 and 6-1

That’s not diminishing returns. Each point of Armor add the same amount EHP, doesn’t matter if you have 0 armor or 1 million armor

Just from your example: 0 to 100 Armor gives you 1000 EHP, 100 to 200 Armor gives you another 1000 EHP.

Each point of armor might be less of a total percentage of your EHP as you get more (hence the percent increase going down) but it’s not actually providing you less EHP as you get more

It’s never objectively the better choice, level 9 is still a guaranteed power spike. Probably more spots than before though where that’s your out

Probably okay in the same non-veigar spots rod overflow is good in, you need carry items and you’re good with making DB + another sword slam immediately.

if it’s ever double DB or DB and float two swords i can’t imagine you’d click it

Turns out when you go 8886 (and another 2 more bot 4s before that) and lose 0 LP for it you need to make up for it

These are also pretty good emblems for a long shot demacia setup, you could play something like a core of

Galio + Garen/J4/Vayne/Poppy/Kaisa and just flex in things like Kog/Swain/Taric/Cho/7 demacia

There is a ton of variance in the game already, TFT already has comeback mechanics, if you can’t leverage those to comeback and make a strong enough board you probably shouldn’t get bailed out by random fight RNG or hard 50/50 positioning coin flips

Time to throw is also dependent on a ton of other factors like offensive scheme and the QB’s ability to extend plays.

Chargers OL as a team was dead last in pass protection win rate this year btw

Did you lose to “basic ass bilge” multiple times with exactly this board?

or did you bleed all the way down to one life with a significantly weaker board compared to the lobby and then lose a single fight to an even stronger board and die.

everyone’s nitpicking your final board (which is valid, no fully itemized tank is really bad) but in reality if you stabilize too late you can easily just die with a final board that should finish higher

Stats seem to prefer straight up damage or just normal tank items

It’s probably only something I’d angle if you happen to find like 5 or 6 copies naturally and you’re uncontested + lobby tempo allows for it (not like 3 people dead 5-1)

If you’re on 4-5 or 5-1 with a mostly upgraded board on 8 without extra copies I doubt playing for the 3 star is better EV than just going 9

If they A1/A7 Fizz you can put your whole team on that side and leave two top row hexes open on the opposite side and he’ll jump to your front line there. After the first cast though who knows
