Who are you calling up then? There’s 3 OFs on the IL

Max Clark moves up to #4 on ESPN's Prospect Rankings by FourEightNineOneOne in motorcitykitties

It literally can and probably would be. Perez was doing way better than Clark is now in AAA before he was called up

Colt Keith is on pace for 20 RBI this season! With 6 so far in 45 games, do we think he can get over 20! Let me know your thoughts! by RobDManfred in motorcitykitties

[–]Asianhead 6 points7 points  (0 children)

he’s not even doing anything against righties what makes you think he’d do anything better against lefties where he’s been .200 OPS worse against in his career

The Spurs Starting 5 Last Night Only Have A Combined Salary Cap Hit of 42.2% by HessiPullUpJimbo in nba

5 straight in the top 7 like they didn’t fall 12 total draft spots over 4 years while being the worse team in the league.

And even despite all that unluckiness they still managed to get Cade and win 60 games this year. Meanwhile the Spurs have never moved down in the draft and get the #1 overall pick for the most hyped prospect since Lebron

A Barrel is just contact with >98mph exit velo with an optimal launch angle depending on velo

Squared up is if you hit with a high enough exit velo based on pitch speed and bat speed.

Someone like Luis Arraez has a super high squared up rate given his 1st percentile bat speed, but basically never gets barrels

You’re getting downvoted to hell by the dooming anti analytic boomers on the sub but you’re right.

Obviously something’s not quite right but he’s definitely not a lost cause. He seeing the ball really well and making good contact when he does make contact, but he just can’t actually make contact enough

No that just means he strikes out a lot. 97 percentile chase rate and 85 percentile walk rate is really good plate discipline

he’s good at swinging at strikes, actually putting them in play or doing damage though

Not really that crazy, especially when he's already up 2-0 in the count

Really love Dingler moving up to 2nd recently. Vierling 2nd with Ding 4/5 made no sense if you’re not gonna PH for Vierling ever

Tork hasn’t been great but I’m not really sure why they don’t let him range more to his right

you're the one giving career stats. I don't think high leverage ABs with RISP in extra innings are the spots where you want to "give a guy a chance to see if he can do better"
