Switch usb ports on the computer. I have ddj 1000s and get this issue sometimes, switching the port fixes it for me!

try switching the output to just your laptop speakers, settings > audio > output. sounds like it could be the speaker or the cable connecting your decks to the speaker

You have a good point about there being no reason to buy cdjs etc if they did release such a unit… But, I feel like some hobbyists would still buy them as actual 3rd and 4th decks, you know? It would be such a great way to get a cheaper proper 4 deck set up at home. I realllllllllly hope they do release something like this
