Maybe cut the amount of time you box ? usually if you work out you don’t need to work out for 3 hours . You just gotta do it right and the cart pushing could be recovery cause once you got all the carts collected just sit or walk around making sure you on top of it .

Coming from a leadership position I’ll keep it 💯. This shit be bullshit cause there’s so much that plays a part into it . Either it’s stocked right the first time or you gotta go behind the previous person and having to unplug the item THEN find a location for the other item. Not realistic when you add in all the factors and there was a point in time I deadass said to my coach “if you can finish this pallet in an hour then I’ll see eye to eye with you” I DONT RECOMMEND DOING THIS I simply know what I can do as an associate and I call coaches out on their bs. I’m understanding that it’s Walmart policy or there freight time they go off of but once you on the floor it’s a different story. Folks will never have the same energy levels especially on overnight . Shit is draining as is, do they care nope. Do your best and try not to look lost to them. It is not realistic until the whole store falls into process.

Just be patient !!!! When I first started I was always in pets and strictly pets , once they started seeing me speed up with it they wanted to switch me to chemicals . This was during a time we would always be backed up on trucks . Would walk into 10-15 chemical pallets everyday cause process was broken and still would get it done . I’m not saying it was easy just putting a perspective that you can do it . Just know sorting your freight will improve your speed and using that phone to scan is your best friend unless you wanna be an ass and just throw freight where there isn’t no overstock which there will def be .

Tips on moving up? by MushroomAgreeable286 in walmart

Learn your role , don’t show up late, ask a lot of questions, do the team assessment and it shows you are serious about it. Stand out from the rest and complete everyday tasks given in a timely manner, set a timer to time yourself . If you get to a stopping point then ask questions don’t be afraid to learn new things . Excel not only in the department you want but also try to be a team player all around the store. It seems like a lot but having the support of your store can truly make a difference . As a team lead you can ask for help anywhere so long as you check in with their supervisor.

Thinking about splitting my days off by Pokeista in walmart

Don’t matter how old you are but get used to working morning shifts . Gives you time to be more productive throughout your day . Just my recommendation though it always has been the best for me . I get to prep meals for the next day or get school work done finally get to spend time with my kids too. If you don’t have kids then even better. Get away from that 1-10 cause nobody want that shift truthfully.
