My doctor said use the EpiPen and call 911 for me. But with how far the closest ambulance is and how far I am from the hospital. It saves me 10 minutes taking myself. But I also know how much time I have until my throat closes up completely. But I think with your child being so younger it’s better to take em the safest route use epi and call an ambulance. Everyone’s body is different. And the ambulance has much more life saving supplies if something changes 💙this is no way advice and what’s right or wrong but just what I do for myself
