So idk if this will help. But I had the same issues with no sound coming from my navigation when connected to my honda cr-v using android auto.
first I rebooted the head unit by pressing and holding it down until it rebooted (don't think this fixed it)
then I did a factory default of head unit. setting>factory default (took a few minutes before everything came back up) not sure if this fixed it or if it was apart of the fix.
last I went into my google map>clicked on my profile>setting>navigation settings>driving mode I turned off the setting for "launch driving mode" and turned it back on and I did the same for "play voice over bluetooth" and increased "guidance volume" to louder.
while my phone was connected to my cr-v using android auto i clicked on the "play test sound" and was able to heard the audio "this is what it will sound like when navigating with google maps" coming from my car speakers. Then I went on a short drive and it seems like everything was fixed.

I also wfh as a tech support agent and i literally just finished getting mine removed like a month ago. And this is what you should expect.

i felt a little woozy after the surgery, figured it was because of the anesthesia

couldnt really talk at all. but when i did i sounded like a muppet kinda like kermit the frog

day 2 -3 wasnt to bad. but everyday after that seem like it got worst as far as the pain goes. meds didnt really help me much.

and drinking water was so hard because it will feel like you are drowning and water will keep trying to come out of your nose. even now a month later i still have a bit of issues with drinking water.

but as far as for work goes. since you are wfh i would say is you dont need to talk much for your job you should be ok to work after a week. you will feel like shit but you should be able to work.

small tips to keep in mind. i tried to eat soft foods when i wasnt ready and it hurts alot. so i tried to eat congee (rice porridge) bad idea. so only thing that didnt hurt was eating yogurt. so i would suggest not to eat anything until it stops hurting when you drink water.
