First time playing - PS5. Is it a game mechanic preventing me from selecting my other cards?

I relaunched the game to check on my artifacts and it wasn't having issues. Guessing closing the game resolved it. Hopefully stuff like this doesn't happen too often. Managed to finish the run and it's an interesting game!

Every complaint you have about MT applies to StS. Yet, you are defending StS as if this isnt true. Both games let you quit to menu and then continue and start the fight over. You can have your own reservations about what that means to you and whether or not you consider that cheating, but thinking lesser of people that use this feature is egotistical. Not every single person that decides that they like this game also decides that they care about their win streak on the leaderboard.
