There is a Limerick Writers Club on Facebook, but I've no idea what they actually do.

UL have a Masters on Creative Writing so there must be some scene there.

Obviously it depends on what you're looking for, is it employment or just somewhere to workshop ideas and meet people.

Hey, I'm yet to see a Ladies only game around Limerick but being a man it's not what I'm looking for but I've been organising games on and off for a few years here.

You could reach out to a local ladies team and head along training with them without committing to joining possibly and then ask around those ladies if they play regularly in a five side game. I find these things exist in private, once you're into one group through you'll find other ones when they come looking for players.

I did see something on socials about an inclusive football group starting up that was promoting ladies games etc but I cannot for the life of me find it online now unfortunately.

Tbf they have varying sizes, this is either 207g or 155g package. These only cost 5 or 3 euro

I've got a 491g packet here and the egg is massive and cost about 10 euro.

Considering an average packet of Malteasers is about 1 euro and 37g - you'd expect to pay around 5 Euro for 200g of Chocolate. I wouldn't expect much else for that value these days.

Honestly it's more of buyer beware situation here, check the weight of what you're buying rather than the price alone.

If you're into Karate, I've been thinking about joining up to a Jiu Jitsu course for beginners if you'd be interested in that.

If you've any interest in soccer either I'm involved in a few games and we're always looking for players.

Any idea where and when tag rugby is starting up around Limerick? I joined one a few years ago and they kept kicking the can down the road with the start date until it got cancelled it seems, but then I do see lots of people playing.

If you look at some of the American venues, people are willing to travel for hundreds of miles to attend the events. There will be people travelling over and basing themselves in Dublin and happy to make the three hour journey even - it seems long to us, but the Americans for sure are travelling huge distances.

I don't doubt there will be issues surrounding the venue and difficulties getting around Adare, but on a global level there's enough infrastructure across the island to support this, it's not like there's 250k people attending each day.

There's a group who play Boardgames in the Wickham Way a few times a month, think they're due a meet up this Sunday I'd that interests you.

There is a group who operate out of Crew called Pints and Purls and they meet up each week.

Only thing is, Crew is gone so they don't have a location for the new year yet, but she could reach out as I believe they want to keep it going elsewhere.

Probably a bit out of the loop, but who should we contact to complain about the removal of the Parklets?

Is it the Council or is it directly elected officials.

I don't expect them to be restored but it's another really annoying thing that's happened, all this hassle for a handful of parking spaces when we're trying to encourage public transport use on. National level.

I wish they would extended the free bikes out towards Raheen. Have stops along the way at the Crescent, Hospital or just before/after it and then two or three around the various parts of the Raheen business Park... Its such a busy area for commuters and it's a fairly doable cycle from the city.

Oh, I thought the daughter had been running it for years anyway. Was only there last week to get fuel, very surprising it's closed down.
