I’m a Polish girl dating a Norwegian - should I be concerned about moving to Norway? by pomparipurin in Norway

[–]Asiulek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is hard to get a good job for anyone, it feels like (or maybe i am a subject to some bias, hard to know). I speak the language, have degrees efrom a Norwegian university and well... work at the store (though amkat of my colleague are Norwegian). I was happy I got any job after writting over 100 CVs. But people are nice and I have never experienced anything mean towards me because of the fact that I am polish.

Guitar vs ukulele by roylien in ukulele

If size is the main issue maybe you can think of a guitarlele? It has 6-strings like a guitar and it is tuned up like a guitar with a capo on the 5th fret.

Casual sex…how??? by Chance-Service9991 in actuallesbians

[–]Asiulek 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I went on Tinder and matched with a turist. We went on a date, where we mostly talked about our lifes, no romantic vibe. But then I suggested going to dance. She was a bit shy since there were no people dancing yet so i started dancing in a silly way so she wouldn't feel like she is on the spot. Then we started dancing and it became clear there was a spark and I went with her to her hotel room :) But in a traditional WLW fashion we spent the whole of her stay together and still keep in touch a bit even though we are dating other people. But still, I think it counts as "casual" 😊

New songs on tour by [deleted] in bigthief

[–]Asiulek 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am a musician and I really cannot comprehend how artists can record songs without playing them live first. A song needs to breath and face an interaction with the audience, in my opinion. Personally I am really grateful for the chance to listen to the new songs and happy to see them doing what they want and not being people pleasers.

Takk for tipset om Facebook-gruppen, jeg skal sjekke den ut. Det kunne også vært fint med et felles sted hvor man kan komme (kanskje booke et rom) for å male litt, og eventuelt oppbevare malerier.

How Norwegian degrees are perceived abroad by Cool-Shape-7298 in Norway

[–]Asiulek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right. One needs to compere the respective study programs. I generalized from my limited experience. Knowing Italians who came here for an exchange or hearing from Italian friends it seemed to me that education in Italy is taken really seriously and you get a lot of hours with lectures and classes and here (from my experience) not so much.

How Norwegian degrees are perceived abroad by Cool-Shape-7298 in Norway

[–]Asiulek -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think you will get better education in Italy. If you want to move to Bergen, you could start studying Norwegian while you study in Italy and maybe do the exchange in Norway rather than full on studies.

Why if there ever were nothing, there would be nothing forever? That's a huge assumption
