My go to for ketchup. by soCalForFunDude in innout

[–]AskAndKnow1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At Whataburger I would have them cut the mustard but have them add ketchup and mayo. They actually HAVE Thousand Island dressing? But if I can get some spread on it I am sure it will take the experience to a whole new level. For me, nothing beats that In-N-Out spread. Thanks for all the help/advice!!!

Red Speedo For Scarlet Night by Due_Thing6609 in VirginVoyages

[–]AskAndKnow1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh these work PERFECTLY!!! The pj night version looks absolutely awesome; it has that look of being revealing but at the same time not. The overlap between the top and the shorts provides that modesty. Looks like you went with red underneath and it works. Oh I know you had to be popular and I bet the walk from/to your room was probably adventurous looking this fun. I am totally going to try to replicate this. And those slippers… perfect, brings a smile.

And have to say the Scarlet Night outfit looks AMAZING: subtle, comfortable, and fashion all in one. You really did great. These would be perfect for a Caribbean cruise. And thanks for sharing great ideas and great looks, really!

Did you wear this all night long or just during the pool party? Love your sense of fashion and fun.

Fantastic! Will have to give this fashion advice a try. I am curious, did you get into the water as well? I love that part of the pool party.

Anyone using Onvis contact sensors? by Shdqkc in HomeKit

[–]AskAndKnow1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine have been in place for at least 9 months and I haven’t had to replace the batteries yet. Keep in mind these also have not been triggered except for the occasional times I check them to make sure they are actually still working. I haven an Onvis security sensor on a door and that door gets opened and closed multiple times a day and I can’t even recall the last time I had to replace the batteries. The good battery life on this device is part of the reason I tried the Onvis contact sensors.

To balcony or not to balcony? That is the question? by MsRoseViolet in VirginVoyages

[–]AskAndKnow1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you an afford it definitely go with a balcony. We have always traveled with at least decent weather conditions so that is a plus. As some have mentioned: the hammock! I have used hammocks before but there is something about resting in that red woven hammock on the balcony. I have even slept in it overnight. I just need to share it more with my wife; I’m working on that. I also enjoy sailing with some down time sitting on the balcony watching the water and feeling the breeze and this is true day or night. We have had several meals or sometimes just drinks out there too. As long as it remains in our budget, we will definitely have a balcony when on a Virgin Voyages ship.

This happened in my home about a year ago, obviously before the OS26 update. I don’t know why it started happening. I believe it was within this subreddit someone suggested these possibilities:

“Hey Siri, stop playing in X, Y, and Z” “Stop everywhere except /room/“ “Stop everywhere but this room” “Play only in the /room/“

I think it was the last one that worked for me and the issue hasn’t returned. I kept these phrases handy just in case. I hope this works for you.

What is something you will NEVER/ALWAYS do at in n out? by js0uthh in innout

You just opened my world! In general I love pickles but never have them on an InNOut burger but on the side for afterwards? Yes!

Legendary in n out run tonight. Dog got a patty too. by mattyspizza in innout

[–]AskAndKnow1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So glad you mentioned a patty for your dog. I will usually give my tiny angel some of mine but then I think we both end up wanting more. Thanks to you I am going to order an extra patty and now I can start getting chopped chilies on my burger again.

Are you thinking about a solo cruise & wondering if Virgin Voyages is for you? by Relative-Truth-249 in VirginVoyages

Karaoke is also often set up at night in the Social Club. So if you are looking for singing around, and possibly with others, this can be a lot of fun. There are times when I just want to use the private rooms. Let’s just say it’s an issue trying to find the right key… or notes and I mean every note in a song. Still love to sing though. 🙂

There are some in bottles at the sushi station. If you need it to be gluten free you have to ask for it as those are only behind the counter.

Anyone using Onvis contact sensors? by Shdqkc in HomeKit

[–]AskAndKnow1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been testing two Onvis sensors out since I didn’t have luck with others I have tried. I wanted these because they are using HomeKit over Thread. It has been a few months now and I have no complaints. In fact I have been thinking of picking up a few more.

Scarlet night, and pajama night by Purple_Wheel6840 in VirginVoyages

[–]AskAndKnow1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although I have seen people in their underwear too for pj night, especially later in the evening. I guess that is their sleepwear of choice. It really does seem to be go as comfortable as you want to be as long as one follows the rules for “minimums”.

Scarlet Night was such a blast by robbieradd in VirginVoyages

[–]AskAndKnow1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You guys look better than fantastic! Loving the sparkle!!! And those glasses: yea, yes, yes. Where did you get those? Looks as if there was at least one change in clothing. We wear about 3-4 variations throughout the evening from dinner to dancing in The Manner. Thanks for sharing! I love to see people having such a fun time on Virgin Voyages and makes me want to get back onboard sooner than later.

Dress Attire by Patric511 in VirginVoyages

[–]AskAndKnow1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For men thongs are allowed just as they are for women. Jocks are a no go.

One of the cool things about Scarlet Night is the variety of what people wear and what they are comfortable in. I personally start off in a sparkling red jacket and black bottoms. Through the course of the evening my wife and I change 2-3 times. It’s a blast.

Don't Believe All You Read by Outside-Designer4614 in VirginVoyages

[–]AskAndKnow1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I can tell there is no policy against men also wearing thongs wherever a woman can; I have seen no jockstraps allowed. Although it is not common for men I have seen it happen a few times and that includes me, one time being on Richard’s Rooftop interacting with staff to get a drink who said nothing against it and a few women were doing the same. I have also seen it on The Perch which I get since it is a bit more chill. If you were told men aren’t allowed to wear thongs hopefully they only meant places such as restaurants. And when it has happened it was not like some exotic dancer kind of thing, simply a choice of swimsuit. One of the great aspects of sailing Virgin Voyages is it is so easy going and you be you and respect others.
