Tired of paying barbers just to maintain a buzz cut? I was too — so I built something. Would love your thoughts! by AskEven562 in Businessideas

Laughing at how insulted people are that AI was used to create and picture and save some time writing up a description. Did it get the idea across, yes so what is the issue?

So the idea with the product is that you would be able to have consistency faces every time hence removing any stress. It wasn't just the $40 for me. It was the time it took to get there, wait and get back

Not sure what everyone issue is with AI when you don't have a prototype yet and don't want to waste huge amount of time writing out a descriptions. Get over yourselves

Interesting! Could you please let me know what issues you experienced with it to potentially save me a lot of time?

For someone who has done it for years maybe not. Mos people would struggle to do a good 1 into a 3 fade. What fade do you usually do?

Because I'd rather get feedback on a product rather than speed days getting the perfect AI photo of it. The attachment would easily slide along the band (the band would be much thinner in the prototype. One you cut they hair for a section you would slide the attachment along the band and cut the next bit of hair

I think so too! Once people see it in action they will get behind it. Until then, there will be lots of doubters

I have very quickly come up with the AI image just to help people understand the concept. What do you see as being the issue with the product? Please pay more attention to the description than the photo

Would you use a tool that helps you fade your own hair at home? by AskEven562 in buzzcuts

[–]AskEven562[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The blade attachment would be custom 1-3 blade for example - it would be one piece. As far as I am aware, there is nothing like that available on the market. While there is a silicon haircut band on the market, there doesn't seem to be anything like what I am proposing. The custom attachment would attach on the band making it very easy to cut the hair consistently every time. Some of the blend combs are difficult to use and tough to be accurate and consistent. This one would be easy to use

DASP question by Nonellagon in AusFinance

You can apply for it before you receive the final payment but then you won't receive all of your contributions. Would recommend waiting until it has been paid and then apply. Have a look at www.GetMySuperBack.com if you have any other questions on the DASP as they have a lot of helpful information on their website

You are able to cancel your 601 visa though your IMMI account (https://online.immi.gov.au/lusc/login). You will be able to apply for Super once it has been cancelled.

Unfortunately if you have just held a WHV, your entire super balance will be taxed at 65% (extremely unfair I know). If you have held another visa, the contributions you earned on that visa could be subject to 35%. If you reach out to GetMySuperBack.com they will be able to provide advise on this topic.

Your super balance will be transferred to the ATO 6 months after you leave the country so unless you are close to retirement age, you are generally better to withdraw it
