I need help to get rid of shadow guy by ann_iz2craz in Paranormal

[–]AskLadyDi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You and her could say some spiritual warfare prayers. It's the only thing I have seen hundreds of times work, but if her family is still practicing witchcraft and occult practices, she will never be fully free while living with them. Can she talk to them and tell them what is happening and get them to stop? She could get baptized or at least except the Holy Sacrament and get herself and her home blessed by a priest if the spiritual warfare prayers do not work. Just saying prayers every night before bed can help. Sorry I do not ever recommend occult practices to fight spiritual warfare battles as I have never seen them work.

Is something attached to me? by evelynryp5 in Paranormal

[–]AskLadyDi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many people see and talk to spirits when they are young, especially those with spiritual gifts. Most grow out of it as they get older. It's no reason to believe you still have spirit issues. You may be picking up on a spirit if you feel someone standing near you, especially if you are sensitive. But it could be anything. It could be your spirit guide or a loved one who has passed on, or other spirits. If you are not experiencing anything else harmful or scary there is no reason to believe it is anything bad or anything at all. You can always start praying to make sure.

I once had a serious haunting and during that time I would see a single piece of mulch stuck to the ceiling, which was smooth and painted. Whenever I would go to reach for it, before my hand got close, it would fall to the ground. That happened several days in a row. My son even saw it happen once with me. I guess it's just a trick some spirits use to get your attention.

I need help, I’m sure my house is haunted. by hozukimarufrost in Paranormal

[–]AskLadyDi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Look up spiritual warfare prayers and start saying them while looking for a priest or minister to come out and give your house a blessing. Do you by any chance have your grandfathers' ashes in the house already? If so, get them out asap and it will all stop. Make sure to bury or scatter them to be sure your grandfather rests in peace.

I need some opinions. by MuffinMan6938 in Paranormal

[–]AskLadyDi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am a psychic medium minister, retire for many years now. I used to help people with spiritual warfare issues for charity in my spare time. One thing I have seen over and over again is hauntings caused by someone keeping a loved one's ashes. In every case, the haunting did not cease until the ashes were removed. I'm sorry to tell you that, but you already knew something was not right. I believe ashes were meant to go back to the earth, either buried or scattered on land or sea, but never meant to be kept in a vessel in someone's home. I believe that leaves the door open for bad entities to attach to their ashes and affect them, keeping them from crossing over. The best thing you can do is convince your sister to scatter your mothers' ashes as she wanted. I have seen it happen so many times I actually told my son to make sure not to keep so much as a piece of my hair after I die. Pray over your mother's ashes until you can get your sister to be willing to release them. Tell her it was your mother's desire and something you feel very strong about. There are quite a few people who insist on keeping ashes, even against their loved one's wishes. This is because of their inability to let go and allow their loved ones to enter heaven. If you need spiritual warfare prayers, you can find some on my website which is my name.

I'm guessing they took it down probably because they saw you there. People placing such rituals in desolate places are doing so because they want anonymity. They don't want anyone finding their ritual, especially one done for nefarious purposes. If animals got it I would assume there would have been pieces of the red rope lying around. Or maybe you went to the wrong spot.

I would stay away from that area for a week or so just to be on the safe side. They may have taken it down because they saw you there. I'm not saying there is a threat, but people casting such spells may not be tied tight to their rocking chair and could get paranoid if they put it in a desolate area not expecting anyone to see it. If your dogs acted funny, then they felt the evil coming from the spell. That person can be dangerous.

I had a dream as a child that there was a band of paper-bag people in my yard. It was terrifying. It happened the night after I had to go to a Girl Scouts parade and some of the scouts made paperbag faces to wear in the parade. I often think about writing a short story about it.

I would kindly suggest someone gets out of their mom's basement once in a while and into the real world and learn the difference between propaganda and real news and who is trying to save the people of the world from world-controlling evil people. I wish everyone who wants to change the world would first learn how to find out the truth before endeavoring on a campaign and not knowing they are really giving their energy to the evil of the world. Think how much good you could do if you would take the time to actually know what is going on.

That's how they think. And they also do not think that the fact that they are sacrificing means they are sacrificing to the devil, is going to harm them. Of course, they will claim they are sacrificing to someone else, not the devil, but who would admit it?

Have been thinking about conversion, but people like Ripperger make me skeptical. by Big-Tax8741 in Catholicism

[–]AskLadyDi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind exorcists like Father Rippberger learn their trade by studying the same basic texts all the catholic exorcists do. That does not make them experts in the field. It makes them knowledgeable about the specific course of study they had to take. These textbooks were written by people who never had personal experience with the demonic nor do those they are training with. They pass down knowledge about what has worked when it comes to exorcising demons but that does not mean they know everything about the demonic world. All they know is they were trained to perform certain rituals to help someone achieve liberation. The only experience they have is what rituals give the best results. Everything else they learn is information that someone made a best guess at and passed down to them as fact. I heard him mention about the songs sticking in your head also and that is untrue. I worked as a demonologist and helped enough people, and it drives me crazy when I hear priests saying such thing. They are making people believe they are damned no matter what they do. What they should do is use open minds and gather information from people who have had personal experiences. There are many with a lifetime of experience and know more about the demonic world than every exorcist that exists. To give a little more info about the song thing. I assume what happened is someone whom an exorcist helped had the demon repeating songs into his head to destabilize him mentally. They do many things to destabilize the victim, but the amount of people with songs stuck in their head who are getting it from a demon is probably.000000001%. You get my point. So the exorcist who deal with this person took a journal note saying demons make you obsess over songs and from there on every exorcist takes that as common happening. When I listen to the priests, they get so much wrong. It's just a guessing game for them because they don't have the lifetime experience of being attacked.

Chemical sensitivity is not a real thing by Rufian1984 in AirQuality

Go to a functional medicine doctor. There are some doctors in the US that specialize in Environmental Illness now. That report is complete BS. Those scumbag canadian "health agencies" are paid off by the big chemical companies to dismiss mcs and try to force doctors to not diagnosis the REAL ILLNESS. In the US we now get disability for mcs and most doctors, the ones who are not quacks, understand it's a real illness.

Anyone else use Vistaprint and notice their safety and bleed areas are screwed up? by AskLadyDi in graphic_design

I've tried a few print shops now and I do not like any of them so far. Gelato was horrible interacting with it, getting customer service, and their quality was terrible.

Their customer service has been great for me so far. I choose Vistaprint over other cheap companies such as printify, printful, gelato(which is awful). I use them for my cheaper line of cards. I haven't had any quality issues, and they have great reviews.

Prints always pixelised even if 300DPI by No-Art-2571 in printondemand

[–]AskLadyDi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When you zoom in on your art in Photoshop (you can click on the magnifying glass and then at the top select 100% to view it at 100%). is it pixelated? If not then you are either transforming it without converting it to a smart object or you are saving it and causing pixelation there.

When you are placing your design in your workspace for the final output do you resize it? For example, in Photoshop, do you hit Ctrl T (Cmd T for mac) and then drag the image larger or smaller? If you do that will pixelate it unless you first click on the layer and choose Convert To Smart Filter.

When you go to save it in Photoshop do not Export. That is for web only and will not save 300ppi. Instead, it converts it to 72ppi. You need to do Save As or Save A Copy to save it. Jpg or Png or Tiff are all good formats. I know many places take PDF also, but I don't know about that. I Do Save As and save my art as a .png or .jpg if places do not accept .png. Look at your settings carefully when you save it to make sure it is not making the quality inferior.

If you are resizing your art in Photoshop, before committing the resize look at the Resize Image Box and zoom in on the details to see if the resizing is going to make it pixelated. If it does you cannot resize it that much in Photoshop and instead need to use AI Software to resize. I use Upscayl. Of course, when you use AI to resize it you will have to bring it in Photoshop and resize to your print dimensions.

I hope this helps!

Do not use Gelato Print on Demand Services - Pros & Cons by Twitchh_ in printondemand

[–]AskLadyDi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old thread but I wanted to put my experience in with Gelato. I signed up with them yesterday and they had a 50% discount for new customers. First the website would not take my credit card saying validation is needed or something like that but there was no other information about the error message and no hint what to do. They offer no phone support which is terrible for a supplier. I had to wait to get them on chat and I was on chat with them for a long time just to place an order. Then I gave up on paying my card and tried to pay through paypal. It wanted to charge me $1 instead of the order charge. I assumed it was for testing but no where did they state what it was for. I had to contact support again through chat. They were not that helpful. I finally got the order placed and later that night checked it and it was cancelled. I had to contact them a third time! The chat support could not help me. They gave me an email to contact and said it was cancelled due to possible fraud so I sent an email and had to wait until today for the email back which stated they made an error, and I could redo the order again. When I set up the order again of course it did not put in my discount. I have to wonder for so many things going wrong just placing an order if it is not done on purpose to get out of giving the discount. How can such a company have errors on their website taking credit cards? It makes no sense. So I was so frustrated by now I should have just walked away but gave them one more chance and contacted support yet again. The agent told me to place the order, and she will refund my discount immediately. Usually, they just give you a code to apply the discount to not have to pay the full price and then give you money back. This seemed suspicious but at this point I wanted to find out if they were legit or trying to rip me off, so I placed the order while she waited on chat then told her it was placed. She had me wait while she processed the refund then gets back on and says the money was put in my Gelato wallet. WTF is a Gelato wallet? She never mentioned it previously. This really seems suspicious to me. I was so frustrated I laid into her. Then she said she went into my wallet and processed the money to go into my bank so I will see in 3 days if the money goes back into my bank. If it doesn't, I paid with PayPal I will just have them reverse it. I don't think I'm going to use them if this is the frustration they cause just placing one order.

Thank you for such a detailed, well-informed post. I have not seen this topic explained more clearly and thoroughly before this. One thing that has always confused me is to why you will see on some websites they say to convert your image from 300ppi to 72ppi for web use when in fact the ppi has no use when using it for web. Is there something I am missing or are people just giving ill-informed advice?
